Charging to magic band

I want to be sure I have this correct:

When I use my magic band to pay for a purchase, the purchase is actually charged to my "room account" - NOT my credit card. I can then use my credit card on file to pay at my resort what I have already charged the past few days.
How does this work if 2 unrelated people are sharing a room? Does each person in the room have their own "room account" and can pay specifically for their own purchase with their own card?
I think I'm overthinking this...

Yes, you can set up your magic band to charge to your 'account' which is paid at time of checkout. Other guest can set up their magic band to charge to their 'account' also paid at time of checkout.

Yes, the front desk can set this up for you. On checkout day the other guest will get their own folio with their charges on it (either paper or email).

You can set up your room charges (mb charges) for 2 different credit cards, we do this often. Just make sure after the first day to grab a copy of your statement to date and be sure its set up properly. A couple times for us it has not been done right at first but a trip to the front desk and it has been corrected. You can also tell by the statement who charged what so we were able to square the first day away amoungst ourselves.

Also keep in mind that after a certain amount, they automatically charge the credit card on file, so may want to go pay on account after a couple of days, unless you know you are well under the amount.

We set up 2 separate cards once. My husband had a conference last fall at CS & I went with him bcuz we already had AP's. Since I was going to be out on my own a lot while he was at his conference & I didn't want him to have to sort through all the charges for his expense report so I used our personal card on my MB & he used his work card on his. I brought gift cards to pay for my charges rather than letting them hit the card. I went down to the front desk after the 1st day to be sure it was working right & it was set up backwards so we got it reversed & fixed. It can be done but you should definitely check on it to be sure they did it right.
