Hi All! Hope this is the right place.... My family of 4 along with my parents are planning a trip next October. Going to rent points at BWV. We're deciding between 2 studios or a 2 bedroom villa. The cost is obviously a little more for a 2 bedroom, which we are ok with. My questions is, my DH and I always charge everything using our Magic Bands that is linked to our credit card. We carry small amounts of cash and some gift cards. I'm assuming my parents will do this as well. My question is...is the credit card linked to your MAgic Band or to the actual room reservation.... we will be eating all of our meals together and we were planning on splitting the checks, plus snacks, drinks, anything we purchase, etc. THe thought of charging everything to one credit card and then trying to split everything at the end sounds like a literal nightmare. So, what I'm trying to get at is: If my dad charges a beer and we charge $100 worth of merchandise, will that be split or all on one? I hoe I am explaining this the right way!!!

Thanks in advance!!

When you physically check in the CM will be able to set up your parents MBs to be tied to their CC and your MBs to be tied to your CC. One word of caution though, some CMs don't do this correctly. So the best thing to do is have you and your parents charge a small purchase in the gift shop and then go to the Concierge desk or the check in desk and find out if the items were charged to the right card. It's a pain the rear, but will save you a ton of time and headache later in the event it wasn't done correctly. I am speaking from experience. :headache:

Do it, but check on it frequently with the front desk. Make sure everything is charging correctly.

Two trips ago, my boyfriend and I each linked a credit card to our respective bands and used them to charge during the trip. At the end of the stay, we got one statement but it showed the charges allotted to both cards. It was confusing at first because it looked like it was all one charge, but it wasn't and everything worked out perfectly. That trip was only 2 days but if I was staying longer I would check in on it more often. We were there for NYE and didn't have much time or energy for the front desk!

We were told the cards were linked to our bands and not our reservation. I thought you could only do one card per room because I seem to remember that from the mid-2000s, but this CM explained it was no longer that way.
