Charging ipod nano in America

If i plug my ipod nano into my USB power adapter using a USA adapter plug will it still charge even with the different voltage?

I would e-mail apple.com about this. It seems like you could get the regular US adaptor and plug the USB connector to that. We have one that just plugs in that costed about $20.00.

I got an proper i-pod charger (it says Capdase on the side) from Comet - it charges your i-pod directly from the mains and has a plug adaptor for each region (UK/US/different bits of Europe). http://www.ibitstore.com/Product/868_capdase_travel_adapter.aspx

Should do, but you need to make sure that it transforms the voltage/current etc currectly...

The one I have (in the link I posted) has a built in transformer.

It will work, i pods charge anywhere, I bought one in the US and it carges through USB in the uk and also BOSE sound DOCK. The plug that we got with it adapts to uk and US.
