Chargers etc on flights from UK

Are we ok to take our camera and camcorder along with charges in our hand luggage ona flight from UK?

Yes - and I would go so far as to say I wouldn't leave my camera or my camcorder in my hold luggage. All valuable items that come with us come in our hand luggage.

Most airlines actually state on their websites under the luggage details that you should keep your valuables and electronics with you as they are not responsible for damage to these in hold luggage

As said, nothing valuable in hold luggage, all in your hand luggage.

I will concur with previous posters and say it again (because it's of paramount importance) : no valuables or electronics in the checked (hold) luggage. (unless you want to get rid of them, of course )
