Charge went through for DDE...

so does that mean it is getting ready to be shipped? Anyone that has recieved theirs know for sure? I'm just wondering if they will get here before we leave. Just 24 days to go!!!!!

Mine took about 2 weeks after the charge for it to arrive.

They can email and/or fax you a letter which indicates your status as a DDE card holder. I would recommend requesting one just in case your card does not arrive in time. I had used the email print out during my trip this past Jan and had no problems using this as opposed to the actual card which arrived long after my trip.

Ordered mine on March 23, credit card was charged on April 21...hoping to get them any day now. But, we have time..don't go for another 6 weeks.

You should be fine! 2 weeks from billing here also, and they do not send emails or fax letters anymore because of abuse. Instead you can ask them and they will leave a temp at Epcot for you.

Ours came right after we left for our DCL cruise....about 2 1/2 weeks after the charge date. I ordered it in the beginning of March and had the email letter, but it expired 4/30. Since we planned on a day in Epcot on our return, I called the day before the cruise and the CM told me she would have a temporary "card" (actually it was another copy of the letter with a later temporary expiration date) waiting at Guest Services outside the Epcot gate. It was very easy and painless.

I ordered mine on March 16, my credit card was charged April 11 and my cards have not been mailed yet. We leave this Friday. I called today and the CM told me my cards should be mailed out later this week. I did confirm that I can use the email letter that I received from them back in March. I had hoped to have my cards but oh well!

Thanks for the replies everyone. I do have the email letter, it was sent as soon as I ordered the card. We leave 3 weeks from this Saturday so maybe the cards will still arrive on time.

I ordered my card on Monday and I received a confirmation letter in the mail today. Does that mean things are picking up in response time, or is this the norm?

I'm not really sure about how quickly they mail out the letters. I would assume they do it pretty quick so that people that are leaving soon will get them. Whe I ordered mine they were still email the confirmations so I got it immediately.

Hey, Pocahantas! I ordered and was charged on the exact same dates as you. Keep running to the mailbox to see if DDE has arrived each day. To increase the stress, I am also waiting on DME packet to arrive. Well, it is now May 7, I am keeping my fingers crossed that today is the day. In the event that it doesn't arrive before we leave home on May 31, it will be an easy trip into EPCOT for us to get the temp card since we are at BCV. Here's hoping we all get them today!!!
