Sorry, I'm in radio broadcasting and this election season is killing me, so sorry if I am repeating other threads etc but I have no time sadly to reread all these threads. I have like almost no life right now....

Basically, I was at WDW in May, with roll out of all FP+ (no paper terminals then), and it was pretty miserable, we got only three per day and I despise Tiers, but it was FREE. I'm meeting with some friends coming down in WDW just to hang with them for a few days. My friend seems to think they charge for FPs now. That is new since I was there in May, but I want to make sure I'm not that out out of the loop just that quick.

Is it still 60 days out for on site and 30 days reservations FPs for regular tickets? Or is that new that they actually DO charge for FPs?

I know SeaWorld and Universal do... So maybe that is her confusion?

Thanks for your brief to the point replies. Knowing I'm going to be able to run around WDW in Nov is helping me get thru this ridiculous time! Sheesh Nov can't come quick enough....

No charge for Disney FPs.

A surprising number of people seem to think FPs cost money, perhaps because other parks DO charge for the equivalent. This has been an erroneous belief since Disney first introduced FP. Another common mistaken belief is that FPs are only available to those staying at a Disney hotel.

Disney has always been pretty open that FPs are free and available to anyone who buys a ticket. Many people just didn't bother to read Disney's promotional material.

Basic structure of FP has not changed significantly since May. I don't recall when the in-park additional FPs started, I think it was before May.

Either very late April or very early May. We weren't planning to go to Disney at all during our early May Florida trip due to the 3 FP limit, but then decided to go for a day when then lifted the restriction.

your friend is incorrect.
there's no charge.
everything is the same as when you went.
-onsite 60 days
-offsite 30 days
-3 initial FP selections and then you must get additional ones one at a time from the kiosks.
-tiers are still in place for epcot and HS. MK and AK don't have tiers

sounds like you better "school" your friend in the "art" of FP+ lol.
