Has anyone ever brought a white pillow case for the charecters to sign instead of a book??? It just seams that it would be a better object then a book. At least it is something that can be used. Anyone know if the charecters would sign it?

As long as you have a piece of stiff cardboard or something inside the shirt that they could sign you shouldn't have any problems.

Last year, we had the characters sign a t-shirt. We purchased 1 clipboard for each t-shirt. The characters really appreciated the ease of signing on the clipboard. Be sure and use fabric pens. Our permanent markers faded a little bit.

We did this on the Disney Cruise. First I ironed ona transferof the Magic w/all the characters in front of the ship. I also ironed on the phrase, "Magical dreams, Kelly! All the CM's thought it was the cutest thing they had ever seen. Before you do this, I would wash and dry the pillowcase without fabric softener. It helps the Sharpie ink "stick" better. Then when you get home, iron all the signatures to "set" them. They should last a long time! Good luck! Kathy :earsgirl:

interesting idea, my have to tell my sister to do that when we are down there with my nephew in nov.

We actually did the same idea, but on my son's Buzz Lightyear denim jacket. He was outgrowing the jacket and it had beige sleeves on it and we have over 50 signatures on the sleeves. This was about 4 years ago, and he still treasures that jacket.

This past January we had them sign white t-shirts. I bought one at the Disney store that had alot of the characters across the chest and ordered another from the Disney website that was long sleeve and had Disney across the chest spelled out in character body parts. We took an embroidery hoop and had it already stretched in place where we wanted the characters to sign. Then when you get home you can either wear it or do what we did and take it to a framing place and have it framed. You would need to know beforehand what you were going to do with it though. One t-shirt was to wear so we made sure the characters signed all over it. The other t-shirt was to frame so we made sure they signed as close as possible on the upper 2/3's of the front only. Just make sure you hand the embroidery hoop to them right side up. My GD messed up one time and we have Belle's autoraph upside down. We just put the t shirts, markers, and embroidery hoops in a ziplock and carried them around in our backpack.

We did a t-shirt on my kids first trip. My Aunt took it and did some neat decorations with it.
