To anyone who recently came back from WDW --- what characters should we be on the look out for when we go in 2 weeks? A friend of mine who went in March said that Stitch was practically everywhere and that Robin Hood was also around a lot. So who did you meet while you were down there?

Tell me what characters you are interested in meeting, and I'll let you know where you are most likely to see them. :)

Threads similiar to this one has been posted several times. And yes there is a list....somewhere! Just not sure where! I'm sure other Disers will know more about it than I do.
When we went last year during Memorial Day week, we met Queen of Hearts, Cindy's mice, Qruella DeVil, Mary Poppins, Peter Pan, Capt Hook, of course Mickey & Minnie, Chip N Dale, Snow White, Mulan, Teedle Dee and Teedle Dum, Goofy, Pluto, Timon and Rifke, Daisy, and many more that I'm not remembering. I was surprised that we never ran into any of the 7 Dwarfs altho we did see them in the parades. Someone told us that seeing Queen of Hearts and Qruella and getting their autographs is a major deal. Has anyone ever met Simba or Nemo? Do they even have them? My girls would have totally flipped over those 2!! :) :love1:
Have a good time when you go.......we like POR too!! ;)

AngieBelle,

We've been every year since 2000, DD was 5 back then and her all time favorite character is Mulan. We saw her in the parade but never got her autograph or photo with her. Any hints as to the best place to catch her? I'd appreciate it! DDs first movie was Mulan in the movie theater and she's half chinese so she feels connected...<g> Thanks in advance!! :flower:

We found Mulanin Epcot in China. We saw her both days we were there and no wait to get a picture with her. She was one of the best characters, very funny and great with our DD7 (it was my DD birthday).

Thanks hezreck!! We tried there once, but never checked back! I'll add that to my list of things to check! Thanks!!

We saw the 7 dwarves once in EPCOT near germany. I think that's a pretty rare sighting. I would guess they were there for some promotional photo op or something, but that was pretty cool. I've never seen Mulan, that would be great. Saw Daisy Duck once, was told that's fairly rare, too. What about the incredibles characters, can they be seen anywhere?

We saw Mulan and Mushu(?) the dragon at the entrance to MGM at the end of April.

Like posting before we saw Mulan in Epcot near Germany....she was w/Snow White. They were sitting on a bench down a little walkway after you cross a bridge. Think there's a restaurant at end of walkway.
I saw the 7 dwarfs Labor Day wknd of 01 in front of MGM studios.
When we went last year we saw Daisy in MK at the Circle on Main Streeet. There's a proper name for the location but can't think of it right now.

Have a great time.

I believe that Mr. and Mrs. Incredible, as well as Frozone, are at MGM in the Amination Courtyard. I think that's the right place, someone correct me if I'm wrong. I'm really looking forward to and hoping that I'll be able to meet them and get pictures with them when we go in October!

Hi! Do you know if Thumper will be appearing again at MNSSHP? We missed him last year! Also, is Brer Fox appearing again on a regular basis?

Thanks!
Amy :)

You can also always check with Guest Relations and they will be able to tell you if the character you want to meet will be out that day and where to find them. Easiest way to do it IMHO

We actually had some good character sightings in Epcot. Once we got REALLY :shamrock: lucky in Morocco at the Character spot was Aladdin, Jasmine and the Genie. They were so nice and took their time with everyone. You didn't mind waiting for 15 minutes because you got such a kick out of them all together.

We also had seen Mulan in China and Snow White with the Seven Dwarfs walking through Germany but you couldn't pose with them you could just take a still that was really :cool1: cool.

I have been trying forever to get Peter Pan and Wendy I hope when we do down in Aug. I will get my chance!! :jumping1:

Yes, Mr. & Mrs. Incredible & Frozone are in the Animation building in MGM. You can go in through the shop and back to where they are. We've done it twice (December & May) and the lines weren't long either time.

I am a character freak, and I am always trying to get pics of different characters. Like someone else said earlier, we have had the most success at EPCOT. It seems like there are more characters, and it is a bigger variety. I also always try to find a CM early in the morning to ask about any specific character I think we might want to see. . .but then again, I'm a little obsessive! :rotfl:

Happy Character Hunting! :goodvibes

I had my pic made with Donald Duck at MGM...Minnie Mouse and Pluto were also there. Didn't wait in line for them. I had my pic made with Robin Hood and Friar Tuck. Is that his name? I think so. We saw the Pooh crew at AK, but didn't go down there. Besides those, all I saw were Mickey, Pluto, Chip and Dale at the Garden Grill.

Is there a listing of all the characters whom you can actually meet?

There's a number of lists around the net. My favorite it at wdisneyw.co.uk which has a listing by character and also location (which includes whether the character appears at that location regularly, occasionally, or rarely). It's also updated more than some of the others around the net, so it seems to be pretty accurate.

Unfortunatly, I haven't been to WDW recently, but I'm heading out (hopefully) in the next few weeks too, so I'll definatly be on the look-out to see what characters are around.

I set a world record on getting every single Princess autograph plus Tinker Bell in the Magic Kingdom. Snow White, Cinderella, and Aurora were at the Toontown Hall of Fame, Ariel was at her grotto, Belle was at the Storytime nook, and Jasmine was with Aladdin in Adventureland. As for Tink, I had to get a little bit of help from Peter Pan.

Don't count on meeting any face characters at MGM, they only make one appearance before the parade, and that's it. The rest are at the hat, and are furries.

Funny story: My sister and my mother had an IM conversation regarding whether or not we should make PS for either Princess breakfast. My sister thought it would be odd for a 31 year old male to be surrounded by princesses, but my mom thought that maybe I would score with them.

She was kidding, of course.

We were there in November and met Mulan at the Princess breakfast in Norway. Also at that breakfast were Jasmine, Aurora and one or two others that I can't remember.

We met a lot of characters in the front of EPCOT at opening. They were between the memory pillars which made lining up very easy.

We met Wendy Darling at the front of Magic Kingdom.

We met Flick in Animal Kingdom. Also met Pocahontis & Stanley In Animal Kingdom as well as Lilo & Stitch

MGM is a great place to meet the villans
