So hugs are back! Yesss!

I did just realize in the app it no longer has the character section?!!!!?!? Maybe with more traditional meets, they will add it back in?

I'm finding it hard to figure out what characters are where and when!

Our room at the GCH was a Woods Courtyard view, but we were just above Napa Rose and I could see the meeting of Mulan from our balcony this morning. I didn’t see any actual full hugs but the little girls were able to walk right up to her and have photos taken standing right next to her, even touching her dress. I could not see the other princesses since Mulan was out on the porch at the back of Napa Rose, so she was visible to me.

Does anyone know if CMs are still refusing to handle guest cameras?

Also, do there seem to be fewer characters out compared to before meet & greets came back or about the same?

How exciting! We have Goofy’s Dinner reservations for the first night of our stay. Hopefully this means my son will be able to get a little closer? Any intel on character autographs?

Someone posted on the Shopping thread that Disney has finally put out the 50th anniversary autograph books for sale at WDW, so I assume that is the expectation.

I said all along autographs would be back as long as they didn't put the books on clearance. And I don't think that happened.

The characters we saw yesterday were all doing their usual interactions - hugs, high fives, autographs, pictures both in photo pass and your own phone.
