I know that too, but I heard that those two are going to start doing meet-and-greets in Town Square when that parade starts as well.

I would like to see more characters in animal kingdom! Disney has tons of animal characters that they do not use like jaq, gusgus, ludwig, panchito, jose, three little pigs, big bad wolf and so on. All these characters would go great in animal kingdom. I think they use the same characters too much, they should switch it up. Shubunk, While I certainly agree with you that AK and the other parks could use some variety, there are reasons why those characters aren't out.....one of them is because there are only a few of them that are made(if you catch my drift) and the parks have budgets and it costs alot of $$$ for the characters....almost all of them are in special events, but unless there's a big demand for a certain character you probably won't see them out.....I will also say that a certain Duck was requested for a long time at guest relations and he was brought out more for meet n greets...If you want to see a character ask at guest relations and have them call. That's the only way they'll get back in the parks. I have met some of the characters that have been mentioned on here and they have been private meet n greets. They were characters only in parades and shows.....Panchito and Jose look like they are going to be back at Epcot. There are rumors that Clarabelle and Horace will be out soon. I'm going to check w/someone about the birds at Epcot later in the day. If you want to see someone ask at guest relations. That's what I would do.

Yeah most definitely keep calling and asking for them. Atleast that shows them there is interest in different characters appearing. More than likely the CM at guest relations was giving you the run-around about it. And no I'm not a CM.

Roger Rabbit from back in the late 80's

This reminds me: quite a few people have told me that Roger Rabbit is THE most requested and in-demand of all the characters that currently don't make appearances at the parks.

So, my advice is (like with what Drew said in regards to Darkwing Duck) forget about the Disney/Amblin feud and keep calling and asking the people at the parks that you want to see Roger back in the parks.

It'll also give Disney and Spielberg even more incentive to end their stupid childish fights over the rights to that Rabbit.

After all, Eisner the miser had quite the nerve to play hardball with the likes of people like Spielberg!
