Interested to know if there are any general character meeting points. I have only been to WDW Florida with the scheduled meetings and, eg, Aurora tending to be in France, World Showcase, Aladdin by his magic carpets etc etc. and just wondered what we can expect when we visit in Aug. My DD is mad about meeting the characters (esp the princesses and any tips would be greatfully received, thanks!

My answer is prob not what you are looking for but we have only been twice and both times no matter where we went there was characters wandering around. In the studio park Mickey and woody were out ALOT we never quequed once to meet them but it could have been because it wasn't busy? Not sure.
Best of luck anyway xx

Here is a page from dlrpmagic with the set times on it. It's a few days out of date, but I don't think anything will change that much.

I've never met any speaking characters at DLRP, do they generally speak mostly french, or do a lot speak english and other languages? I've always been hesitant incase I couldn't speak to them! :D

Ther is a meating point at the end of Main Streat on the right. Next to Casey's Corner.

I've noticed that 'Meet and Greet' points are marked on the Park Map Guides. If it's Princesses your DD wishes to meet then you might like to consider a character meal at Auberge de Cendrillon.

While it might not be cheap, you are guaranteed to see a Princess or two, they also have a float (or two) in the Once Upon A Dream Parade.

Hi
We went last month to DLP and as we walked through the castle (it was about 10am on a Saturday Morning) there was Aurora (sleeping beauty) Cinderella with Prince Charming and Belle.....DD was thrilled, weve been 4 times and it was the first time we'd come across all the princesses together.
It could have been because it was a weekend, as we noticed lots of things were open that had been shut the day before.

Hi, we were in DLRP in November and we saw all the princesses and their princes in the castle at around 11.00 on Thursday morning. Booking the good morning fantasyland breakfast is a good idea because you are in the park earlier than anyone else and quite often get to see winnie the pooh and some of the other characters before the rush! Also, if you are staying in a Disney hotel, hang around after breakfast as there will be some characters wandering around there too.:hippie:

Oh that sounds fab! Is this a regular thing or was it a one off?

I think its a regular thing, there is also a regular meet the princess event in the mornings just opposite the castle (there is a throne on a stage) A different princess with her price arrives at about 11.00 and they pose for pics and sign autographs and let you sit on the throne. My daughter got a kiss from Aurora which was wonderful. Get there early cos there can be a big queue. Pick up one of the leaflets in the area after the entrance (pink ones are for the castle area) for a detailed schedule of the appearances.:cloud9:
