Is my list accurate of characters that stamp autographs?
The Incredibles
Kermit and Miss Piggy
Buzz and Woody at MGM (Woody signs at MK)

Thanks,
Amy :)

Where is this list? I didn't know that there were some that only stamped.

I don't know if there is actually a list published anywhere...the list above is just from my experience, and since we haven't been to WDW for a year, I wanted to make sure it's up-to-date.

There are also characters that don't sign at all like: King Louie, Mike W. and Sully.

Amy :)

Thanks. What happens if you ask a character to sign who doesn't. What do they do?

We just got back today and we saw Buzz and Woody at MGM. Buzz stamped, but Woody did sign an autograph

On our last trip, my boys were the first in line to see Buzz, Woody and Jesse after a break. We got up there and they gave them their autograph books, but the CM who was with them forgot to take out the stampers. They tried to get the CM's attention (without talking of course!) but in the meantime, both Buzz and Woody signed my boys' autograph books! It was very hard for Buzz to do, but sure enough, we have a "signed Buzz"!! I thought that was pretty cool, and rare, too! :)

Usually there is a "character handler" nearby...he/she lets everyone know how long the characters will be out, etc. This person can tell you if the character will sign an autograph.

But, if there is no character handler, and the character doesn't sign autographs, the character will just gesture no or like in King Louie's case, show you his long arms that make it impossible for him to sign. :teeth:

My DS has had buzz and woody both sign and stamp his albums. Our trip in Feb. my son was all decked out in buzz gear and woody went to stamp buzz's name for him and he shook his head and took marker from hubby and proceeded to sign DS book.

On Thursday...we saw woody and jesse at Diamond Horseshoe and he signed the book.

I have to agree we saw mr and mrs incredible and buzz in the timekeeper and they stamped...

Here's a really long list of characters who stamp or don't sign ...! :teeth:

Character who stamp are Mr. Incredible, Mrs. Incredible, Frozone, Kermit, Miss Piggy, Buzz, and Woody.

Woody has the ability to sign or stamp (aparently Buzz, too!)

Non-signing/non-stamping common characters include Mike, Sully, King Louie, Bullseye, Goliath the Lion, Conniesaurus, Carnataurus, Figment, and Nemo.

Really rare characters that don't sign or stamp are Goliath the Gargoyle, Walrus, Dumbo, Rolie Polie Olie, and Zowie.

Characters who sometimes sign/sometimes won't are Mr. Penguin and Beast, and also the seven dwarves usually won't sign if they are meeting as a group.

Whew! What a list! Have fun meeting your characters! :)

When we saw Buzz, Woody and Jessie, Woody and Jessie signed and Buzz stamped. It was great - he also stamped the bill of DS's Buzz Lightyear hat with his signature (after gesturing to me for permission).

What a special and excellent souvenier!

FYI, the Walrus is signing autographs at this year's MNSSHP.

Just got back. Buzz and Mrs. Incredible were the only stamps @ MK. Both Jessie and Woody signed. Add Bullseye to the list that can't sign (hard on the hoof) :goodvibes Also, Penguin was out in Toontown and did sign, in fact I commented on the fact that he wrote MR. Penguin. He was really cute! We also loved Chicken Little and Abby Mallard they were great....you can catch them in the Animation building at MGM. One other thing, if you're going to MNSSHP and your kids are dressed as something Disney, try to find that character. Ours were dressed as Pooh and Tigger and when we finally found them, the CM helping out asked if we minded if they took pictures of the boys w/ Pooh and Tigger's cameras as they were on the lookout for kids dressed like them. They said they would be putting the pictures in their personal scrapbooks. Our boys were so excited and have vowed to look for their scrapbooks in Pooh's house on Playhouse Disney. It was great!

So can you see Kermit and Miss Piggy in the Parks again? I have seen them in the parade, but never at a park. Are they at MGM? Also where has Chicken Little been spotted? I would think that would be a hard costume since he seems so small. and can you really meet Nemo? I haven't been to the parks since 2001 and will have to catch up on meeting so many characters. I may have to find my autograph book becasue I will need to get the Incredibles, as well as the above listed.
When I was there Woody and Buzz both had stamps. I never saw the horse, but Jess signed. I thouht that Mike did, but can't remember. I know we missed Sully.
I can't wait to get pictures with some of the less known characters at MNSSHP. I really want to get Aurora. I have never seen her either.

Chrissy

Last year Mrs. Incredible signed our book. I'm sorry to know that she is stamping her autograph now. :(
