Characters in Parks

It's been a while since we traveled with a toddler but this June we will be traveling with my niece and her 2 year old son. She is looking to me for advice and one thing she wants to do is get autographs on his birthday by some if the recognizable characters. So we have chef mickeys that evening so those are covered. My question is Chip and Dale still roaming around? How about pooh and friends, do they have a special FP+ spit or our they around?

There are no FP opportunities for the Pooh characters that I know of, but they meet in Epcot in the UK pavilion. Chip and Dale normally seem to use around. But check those sites for more info and accuracy than me.

When we went in September 2012, Chip and Dale were right by Space Mountain. You just wait in a line and they sign autographs.

Pooh and Friends have an autograph spot when you first get to AK. That was the first thing that we did when we got there. It did take about an hour. But we got: Pooh, Tigger, and Eeyore.

There is also a character spot by the Winnie the Pooh ride. Not sure if it is FP+ or not. We saw Pooh and Tigger there, I believe. We also saw Chip and Dale in Epcot, kind of close to the Epcot character spot, but outside.

We saw Chip and Dale in a character spot in Animal Kingdom. They were so cute.

Gotta say - make sure he wears his Birthday Button - the characters are likely to write a special birthday greeting if he does.

No FP+ for those characters. They tend to have smaller lines, though. At MK, Pooh and another friend meet to the left of (when looking at) Pooh's ride. We saw Chip and Dale in Frontierland. When you get to the park, get a schedule for the week and it will have locations and times of character meet and greets.

MK - Fantasyland (next to attraction)

DAK - Discovery Island (just before entrance to Dinoland)
