Characters dining going from 1 credit to 2 credits?

A friend of mine who's a TA and has his own WDW page just posted info regarding an increase in most Characters dining regarding the number of DDP credits needed... This is nuts.

EDIT: APPARENTLY IT WAS JUST A GLITCH. SORRY ABOUT THE WRONG INFO. TURNS OUT THE CM ON THE TA LINE CAN BE JUST AS MISINFORMED THAN THE ONES WE GET TO TALK TO.

There are two or three posts regarding this on the first page already. Disney has it up on their website, but no one at the call center seems to know anything about it.

I just made a reservation for dinner at Tusker house at the end of June and also one in July and they both still said 1 TS credit needed.

It's just a glitch on the website.

I don't think so. I friend (TA) called Disney (on the TA line) and they confirmed the change.

If you go on each restaurant page, click on "Some Dining Plans Accepted", you'll see the tables... and the changes.

Yep...specifically Chef Mickey's, Tusker House, and Akershus.

it's not totally confirmed yet, since Disney has not made an announcement. Also, there is a chance that if it is confirmed, those who already have reservations there will be "grandfathered" in. I wouldn't go cancelling things until Disney confirms it.

If Disney goes down this road and I have to choose between seeing Mickey and eating at a signature there is no way I will be going to a character buffet. If true I hope it blows up in their face.

Everybody is in shock right now... Oh by the way... For Chef Mickey, I think it's only dinner who's going to 2 credits.

With all due respect, if the TA cast members' information is as unreliable as all the other cast members, there's reason to be skeptical.

It's probably wise to wait on Disney to put out a confirmation. That said....the fact that it's still on the website after 24 hours leads me to believe that it's not a mistake.

Someone else posted this too, but if you look on the details of each of these three, they are listed as a part of the Disney Dining on Thanksgiving Day event. If you try and book on Thanksgiving Day, the entitlement is 2 credits, if you try a different day its only one!
