Characters Autographs

My dd LOVES to collect the autographs from every character she sees. Do they sell the books on board like they do in the park? Do they have a Disney cruise logo on it? My friend is going to WDW this week and will pick up an autograph book for me if I ask her to.

Also, I think I heard that if you give your childs autograph book to a cm, they will take it and have every character on board sign it(including the cms from the entertainment/shows) and make sure it is delivered back to your room by the end of the cruise. I think this would come in handy for ariel, hercules, hades, etc who do not do the actual meet and greets. Anyone ever do this?

You will have a chance to see characters that you may have not seen before. It is fantastic. There are times when the characters are available at tables where you can get signatures. We purchased a beachball in the gift shop (at $.99 the best buy of the whole trip ) and had alot sign it.

We met some wonderful people who were in cat 3, we were in cat 4, and their cabin steward was kind enough to take ours along with their DKs and get everyone's autograph. When in concierge territory, you can get some extras!

Either way, you will see a whole lot of them.

Take pictures and leave a blank page opposite the autograph to post the characters picture later. We have done that for some of my DD's and she loves it!

They do sell the autograph books on the ship. We bought ours before we left (at a party store). We also brought a disney shirt and gave it to the lady who helps the characters at the autograph session and she took it and had all the characters sign it. (I did not have to worry about missing a character). It was returned by the end of the cruise. The only autographs you can get are from the characters that are actually on the ship. My son loves his shirt. Someone else suggested a pillow case.

I think I will pick up an autograph book at the park store in MCO, and let my dd use that at the greetings. I will also get a pillowcase and give it to the desk for all the characters to sign. You can always grow out of a T-shirt, but never a pillowcase LOL.
