Characters at resorts?

I am staying at the BWV in March of 2006 and was wondering if there are any ever characters on the boardwalk at all? I haven't read anywhere that says they do but I wanted to ask to see if anyone has seen any characters on boardwalk.

No. Sorry. You can take a quick walk to Epcot.

There is a character breakfast across the lake at the Cape May Cafe.

Now, there are entertainers on the boardwalk, but not Disney characters.
