Characters at MNSSHP

I think I missed something. Didn't someone say Capt. Jack was out signing autographs??? I'm sure I read that. Is that not true? Please say it isn't so!

I personally would like to see the White Queen from Narnia.

I would love for the White Witch to be at MNSSHP so I can get her autograph! As you can see by my sig, she was at the Studios in Disneyland Paris when we went , but alas, I forgot my autograph book

OMG! What sort of attraction is that in DL Paris that lets you go to the Witch's throne?? I nearly lost it when I was able to walk through the wardrobe in MGM. Now I want to visit the Witch's throne!!

Maybe they kept some of the more rare characters in some of the more expensive attire inside/offstage last Friday due to the rain. Maybe we will be blessed with better weather and some more varied characters this Friday. I can hope at least. Maggie

No attraction. She was just sitting there on her throne when we came off RNRC. No one else but us even paid attention to her. My daughter even wanted to wait to we got off RNRC again (we literally walk on that every time we go with empty cars on the ride ) Anyway, glad we didn't as she was gone after we rode. But it was just like a little stage sitting there all by itself. The little dwarf guy (forgot his name) wasn't real though.

Hope you're right, Mickeysaver. I wanted some different villains...ie Hades, white witch of Narnia

I just came back and the list pretty much sums it up. I did hear at MGM while waiting for Robin Hood and Friar Tuck that WDW is getting in some new characters from Disneyland Tokoyo so I think the variety of characters depends on what characters are at other disney parks.

The only one I heard mentioned by the one worker to the other was Maid Marian from Robin Hood. From the sounds of it there are more but I didn't hear.

I'm leaving at the end of october, and I want to see Maid Marian soo bad, I guess I'll just be missing characters such as Tinkerbell (they said they're auditioning for her), and Maid Marian!

Maid Marian used to be at WDW several years ago. I wonder why they took her out? It's going to be weird to see Tink in the parks. Weird but neat!!

Hey Hugs !! I also thought there would be more characters out there this year but i guess it is going to be the same as last year. Well i think you will get new ones like clarabelle, and hoarce and hopefully jack! Well i i guess now i am looking foward too the pirate party rather than this party

Hey! I am also starting to think the Pirate and Princess party will be far more interesting than MNSSHP! I haven't set dates yet to go to Pirates&Princess, but I am thinking I will get started on that! It's great that you got four new characters to find at MNSSHP! Looks like I can get Horace, so that would be very cool! I may still hope for Clarabelle, since she and Horace usually associated together. Maybe things will improve at upcoming parties.

Just the more I think about it, the more disappointed I am, that Disney basically is just repeating last year's party. Everything sounds the same - The Alice Treat Trail; the Jane-Tarzan treat trail; Stich as Elvis; same villains at the Castle. The 2003 anad 2004 parties were more unique, and some different characters were at each. Well, I'll still go and have fun, guess I will have to go on rides instead of look for characters!

I am so excited about the characters.....need the villans and some others...... I just love to get them in there halloween costumes....I can't wait. We may go twice the week were there..once just to hunt characters etc......i have some from years past... but I want more!!! LOL..I can't wait!!!! Less than a month.....

You do realize that when you get the real Captain Jack, you have to share him, right?

I wonder why Disney World is the lone gunman in not letting the guests get photos? It seems both Disneyland and the Disney Cruiseline do, so I wonder why WDW is different. Hmm. Something to ponder.

My cousin was a CP and stayed on seasonally, and we went at the end of August. While she was working the CM's were talking about the mob factor with Captain Jack. She said they don't have him signing autographs because they don't want him to get mauled. Might get dangerous, and traumatize the small children!

But if he's out elsewhere, can't they give WDW visitors some pirate fun? Me wants the Captain! We were seriously considering flying down for a few days to do the party since we thought Jack was out. We may go anyway, just cuz I've never done it, it sounds fun, and I think I can miraculously fit it between working full time and grad school. Disney=sanity!

That was my thoughts as well (re: the high volume), but perhaps - since WDW's in a low attendance season, they can try it out and see how it goes.

I admit, I'd love to add my Cap'n Jack photo to my already adored Pretty Anakin photo. Perhaps we'll get some Jack photos soon.

I still laugh when I think about it though because, in my video, you can hear a woman yell out behind me to Mack, "Bring out Jack Sparrow!" Mack, who was just awesome, handled it splendidly. I think he's used to it by now.

Really? It would be great to see Maid Marian out again. I heard a rummor recently that Marie from the Aristocats might start making appearences at WDW too (she's only been at at Tokyo and Hong Kong so far).
