Characters at MNSSHP

These lists are wonderful. They're making me wish I was going to MNSSHP. There's got to be a way. lol

I Really wish there was a way to have a Meet & Greet with Ursula from the Little Mermaid...They found a way to have one with Ariel, so why not Ursula...at least for MNSSHP!!!

Well, got to say that after reading posts all day, my character enthusiam is starting to dwindle a bit. Everything I am reading is telling me there was barely anything different about this year - it sounds like a carbon clone of characters from last year's MNSSHP party, save Brer Fox and Horace. (Horace would be AWESOME to finally meet, can't complain about that!). Brer Fox had been out alot since May, it seems, so he is not unique right now. And it appears that not even Jack Sparrow was meeting. And the villains sound the same, maybe even less of them.

Maybe I character hunt too much, since it sounds like Horace is the only new character for me! I met all the others before! I was hoping for some more variety, some creativity, but it sounds just like last year. How about the Snow Witch, or Stromboli, or Scrooge? Maybe Pain or Panic or Shan-Yu? Or Thumper or Darkwing? Something different would be great, but doesn't sound like it will happen.

As another poster said, maybe since this was the first party and somewhat rainy, Disney will get some more characters out later! I can only hope! Come on, Disney!

From the list that i saw i the new ones i would be able to get are tarzan, jane, malifacent, and the walrus. I was hoping 4 a lot more like sora goliath, strumboli, shang yu, pain panic, scrooge, jack, the witch queen (they have her costume but they waste it on the narnia attraction at mgm and she only comes out for a second! ) and many others. Hopefully hugsforeeyore is right and this was just a slow party.

Hey Shubunk!! Glad to know you got some good ones to go meet! I also wish Disney would get some of those really unusual ones out, but I am really starting to fear that they won't. But even so, I have such a nice time at the parties anyway with the parades and trick-or-treating, that it's still worth the trip. And others are reporting that MGM has face characters again! So I guess my upcoming trip will still be OK, even with hardly a new character to meet!

After all, the best thing to do about it is to make your voice heard.

the evil queen and malificent are out doing meet and greets and the parade- jojo, goliath and little einstines are at the toontown tent along with a mixture of others.

After all, the best thing to do about it is to make your voice heard.

Hey! I probably should consider it!! I still can't believe Disney is just basically repeating last year's party!! Time to try to make them understand that some variety is GREAT!!

My DS will be dressed as Sora (from KH2 in the new costume of course) at the party on 10/12. It would make his YEAR if he got to see Sora at MNSSHP!

I'm beginning to wonder if Disney isn't concerned with Moms and adult women mobbing the poor CM who plays Jack. The women obviously know the man isn't dear Johnny, but they still seem to get all over themselves. Any port in a storm? As Cotton's parrot might say.

I totally agree! I know on the cruises everyone goes crazy to meet Captain Jack and he has the longest line of anybody to meet! It's not the little children waiting in that line either...haha! Right now I think you can only meet him on the Disney cruise ships and Castaway Cay, but I will be happy to see him in the parade. Maybe they are waiting for him to come out for the Pirate & Princesses Party. I am very excited about meeting him on the cruise. I may just be stuck having to wait until then. I do love my fake Captain Jack! He will do until I can get to the real thing!!

I'm kind of upset too. I was hoping for the White Witch of Narnia. She's been out at Disneyland...not just in a show but actually for pics & autographs and so has Jack Sparrow. Pain & Panic would make an excellent addition to MNSSHP meets

On another topic has anyone actually met Jack Sparrow?? Maybe there are a few character cast members on here that could give us some inside info about him. I think he's out at Disneyland for character meet n greets.

I agree with you Shubunk about the White Witch of Narnia. She would draw a huge line at the party. Hopefully they'll get some more out. Darkwing Duck and Talespin just came out on DVD. I thought they might have a variety of those characters out instead of the same ones....Baloo, Louie..etc....

Please Disney Character Big Wigs!!!!! Please give us some different characters for MNSSHP. I think everyone is tired of seeing the same characters. Everywhere you turn is Rafiki, Stitch and Pooh. I say we picket the MNSSHP for rare characters. Shubunk, HugsforEeyore or Disneyphilip want to join me???

I SO agree about some different characters being there, thats part of WHY people pay to go to the party!!!

did anyone find out how clearing the park at 7pm went please?

We have one ticket for the 12th, but we MIGHT do the 24th or 26th as well, but DH is holding off spending $s if the park is too crowded or ful of non paying guests, or the characters are the "same old, same old!"

You do realize that when you get the real Captain Jack, you have to share him, right?

I wonder why Disney World is the lone gunman in not letting the guests get photos? It seems both Disneyland and the Disney Cruiseline do, so I wonder why WDW is different. Hmm. Something to ponder.
