Characters at Hilton Head?

Are there ever times at Hilton Head where they have character meet and greets?

Other than B'lou Crabbe and Shadow, I have not seen any other characters, but I've only been there maybe a total of 15 nights.

In the past year or so, they've started adding Pluto as a regular visitor. Well, regular for HHI-he did a 1/2 hour meet and greet the week we were there, but other than that one meet and greet, we never saw him. That's been OK with me-I adore Shadow, and so do others (see her in there?)-

My Daughter Loves B'Lou Crabbe and Shadow. She also loves interacting with the lifeguards. We can't leave without saying goodbye to them on the last day. She talks about Hilton Head just as much as she talks about Disney world. Hilton Head is a Disney Vacation in that the service is great. It is different that Disney World in that it is relaxing. There is still alot to do, but not enough that you are overwhelmed.

Are you suggesting that the lifeguards are characters? I suppose there are times.....! I agree about great service-I've always said that they could remind WDW about customer service sometimes. I remember one year, I hadn't gotten the wake up call several times. Even though the wake up calls come out of the main resort in Florida, the front desk gave me a box of cookies for my problems. I thought that was so nice of them, and told them that they shouldn't have felt at all responsible.
