Characters at DL

No, it has been 19 years since I have been to DL but I remember going and seeing the Characters all over the park and it was never a problem going up to them and getting a picture with them (didn't know anything about autographs back then) but now in all the threads I read it sounds like you have to get in line to get pictures or autographs with the characters.

What's up? Are they just walking around like they use to do but there are just way more people who want to see them or are they stationed at certain places and you have to stand in line like you do with rides to get a picture with them?

Ok, the Princesses are pretty much only at PFF in DL. These require you to wait in a line to get 1:1 time and a signature.

There is a schedule handed out in the morning that will tell you when you can meet certain other characters. Buzz has a schedule in Tomorrowland. Flik and Atta have a schedule in DCA. All the Pooh characters hang out in Critter Country, and they have a staging area that you get in line for sigs. There is a show in DCA at the animation studio, where afterwards you get in line for Cinderella, Woody and Fantasmic Mickey.

I am sure there are a few others I am missing.

If you have EE to TT you can get in line afterwards to meet Mickey, Chip, Dale, Goofy, Donald (best way to see Donald is there)

After all that said, many of the other characters wander around. Many have spots where they will typically end up, others just randomly. If one of these characters is seen - they generally will attract a mob with a line, and then hopefully the CM will control the line as the time with the characters is limited, and inevitably each trip we will have to explain to DD that some character had to use the potty.
