Characters at Chef Mickey's

Can someone please tell me exactly which characters are at Chef Mickeys-we're going for both breakfast and dinner. Thanks,

Usually the characters are Mickey, Goofy, Pluto, Donald and Minnie.

Everytime we've had dinner we've has Chip and Dale, Mickey, Minnie, Goofy. Donald is there but doesn't come through often.

of years ago they moved Chip and Dale out. The last two summers we have had breakfast there and Mickey, Donald, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto were there. Prior to that Chip and Dale were always there.

I also believe Chip/Dale are out....Currently, regulars are Mickey, Donald, Pluto, Goofy, Minnie...The list on allears reflects this line-up....

We have been a few times over the past year....Most recent trip was Jan...And there was no Chip or Dale.

We did breakfast in May 2007 and it was Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.

We just did dinner on June 8 2008 and it was Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Donald and Pluto.

We saw Chip and Dale at Garden Grill at Epcot

Thanks for the info about Chip and Dale not being there any more. I did find the list on all ears: http://www.allearsnet.com/din/cbchar.htm They still mention chip and dale but I think I'll leave them out-I'm making a book to help my son know what will happen when we're at DW in Sept. Chip & Dale were the only characters I didn't have good pictures of.

Others have posted that Chip & Dale are no longer there anymore. Also each time my family and I had dinner there, Donald was always in the waiting area and never went around to any of the tables.

We had the same experience at breakfast three times in recent months...We always waited on a short line at the front of the restaurant to take a picture with Donald...Mickey, Pluto, Goofy, and Minnie came to the table.

So how does Chef Mickey's work? Are the characters both inside the restaurant and the waiting area? Do they just come to your table as you are eating and you just get up and take pictures with them or do you do this in the waiting area? I'm wondering if my kids are going to do any eating if all the photo ops are at the table? I'm also wondering if myself or my husband are going to do any eating trying to take all these pictures and video taping our girls?

We had the Fab 5 at Christmas as others have mentioned. It's interesting people mention Donald being at the front of the restaurant sometimes. He was out at the tables when we went.

On most days/nights Mickey, Goofy, Minnie, and Pluto (sometimes Donald) will come right to your table to take pictures and sign books while you are eating....They are usaully good about all getting to you before you are done eating...They all come out for a birthday party sing and dance about every 45 minutes....Donald tends to be in the waiting area but sometimes he comes around to the tables too...You will wait for him on line in the waiting area before you get seated if he is standing in the front...There is always a wait for you table even with an ADR...They also give you time for the PhotoPass person to take a group photo of your party in front a a Chef Mickey sign before you are seated...They come to your table with copies of the photo they took along with a picture of the characters....There is a very small # on the side of the photo that you can use to purchase more of that photo but you will need to buy that package to get the #....I think it is $24 for the package but I cannot remember for sure...

We have been three times with small children...They always eat and we do too...Disney does character meals right...They manage to time things so you have a at least a few minutes between characters visiting and it does take them a long time to come around to every table so there is plenty of time for you all to eat...Just be ready to take photos at any time and be prepared to eat in between visits....Don't worry, you will leave full!!!!!!

The last two years we ate at Chef Mickey's for dinner we saw........Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, Pluto, CHIP AND DALE and Donald was there standing near the buffet.
