Characters and their Autographs

We're just off the Marvel cruise and one of the great souvenirs was my daughter having Captain America's shield signed by all the Marvel characters. I'm wondering why do the Marvel characters sign autographs but the Star Wars characters don't?

Two completely different franchises.

Lucasfilm’s stipulation is their SW characters remain in character at all times. It’s all about character integrity.

Lucasfilm’s stipulation is their SW characters remain in character at all times. It’s all about character integrity.

I can attest to that as the Imperial Guard was very serious about their roles and my devotion to the Dark Side. (SWDAS - January, 2019) I was playing with them, but they were SERIOUS! It was fun!
