We just got back from our first trip ti WDW and everything was just wonderful. I learned so much from these boards and wish to thank everyone for all of their input and advice.
I wanted to share something that I learned from one of our waiters...He told us to call the Disney operator from our hotel room and arrange for a character wake-up call. Either Mickey, Goofy or Donald Duck will then call your room at the time specified and you can have your kids answer the phone. We videotaped their faces when they got the call and it was so great!!!
It is a computerized message and you cannot request a certain character, but the kids expected it every day after. So, (I hope I don't get into trouble for this but,) I went outside and made a call to our room from our cell phone and pretended to be Ariel and woke up the girls for the Princess Storybook breakfast. They screamed and danced and were so excited!!! They talked about it for days. It was a lot of fun and I definitley recommend doing it for your kids!
