I know about the group of character coming out around the animation building. Where exactally does this take place? I know WHERE the animation building is but are the characters in the courtyard infront of it or are they inside the building?

It's inside the animation building, in the same big open area Mickey Mouse takes photos. They just scatter around the room and lines form. I do wish it was outside for prettier photos, but then more people would see them and the lines would be too long to see them all. In addition, it was NASTY hot the day we were there, so it was great to be in the A/C!

And by the way, you can go in the back door. You don't have to enter through the front and see the movie again.

Princess and the Frog characters are now in MK. They are kind of behind the Christmas Shop in their own spot. Today it was the princess and the prince (don't know their names). There was a photopass photographer. I got pics but don't know if I have any without my son in them and I don't post his pictures online.

They used to be out many years ago, but not anymore. They were on a few of those live-action sing-along tapes as well. The last time I heard of them being out was at Disneyland in a pubilicity photo with the Jonas Brothers for last year's ABC Christmas Parade.

What characters (common and RARE) have been out lately? My family is going to WDW December 21-30 and wanna know what characters we could meet there

Going to read the thread more -- hoping to figure out what characters we can definitely expect to see/get autographs from.
We are working on an autograph album to take with us (well, the kids will each have one anyway). So far dd has a page for Mickey, Minnie, Donald, Cinderella and think that is all at the moment. Each has a place for them to sign and a place for a picture of her and them. So wanting to figure out what others to add in.
I know Pooh characters (doing a CP breakfast) and doing CRT dinner but don't remember reading if any of the characters will sign there or not.

Not many rare characters right now, they are not very common in December (they are more common in January).

Your best chance is maybe the animation building on Non-Fant nights, but that is no guarantee, and they seem to be circulating more common characters there now.

So wanting to figure out what others to add in.

I think I read that Cinderella may sign (right when you arrive) but I do not believe that the others do, I think they just do their little show. Hopefully someone who has eaten there recently will chime in.

That is correct. Cindy will sign when you stop in the library for photos, but no one upstairs will sign. Although I think they did give my daughter a card with signatures from the mice and FG that they had done "earlier"......

what happens when F. is everynight like the first 2 weeks in Dec, will they still come out on particular nights, or will it be daily?
