At DHS on Weds a little before 5 we saw all the Up characters (Dug, Russell and Carl), Evil Snow Queen, Minnie w/Pluto, Genie, Mary Poppins w/Mr. Penguin, Geppetto w/Pinnochio, Mr & Mrs Incredible - the next rotation included Chip & Dale, Pocohantas w/Meeko, Capt Hook, Frozone and a few others I can't remember because we had already seen them elsewhere. Lines were pretty short and the characters were all awesome - lots of great interaction!!

Were there handlers present with the characters to take pics? I'll be there solo and would love pics w them.

Yes, there was a handler with each character - I was able to get in all the pics with DGrD
I'm wondering if this is a training spot - all of the characters seemed more interactive than usual - or maybe that was because the lines weren't long and they had more time to spend.

I'm sad to hear Hook and Smee aren't out. I had a blast on our last trip with Hook. DDs (8,5 and 2 at the time) DW and I were walking through adventureland and saw the two of them. I asked the girls what would happen if I called Hook a 'cod fish'. They laughed, so I yelled out really loud "Hey Hook, you're a COD FISH!". He actaully ran out of the meet and greet area!
I was pushing the younger girls in a double stroller, and I took of running with them. He chased us a little ways before turning around. The girls loved it. I hope maybe he's back out before we go next year.

Are there any places where villains are normally out? We've tried to get Creulla's autograph previous times and never could find her. On our first trip, our oldest daughter (3 at the time) was enamored with 101 Dalmatians, and wanted to find Cruella so she could "throw a pie in her face" (her words). She'll be 11 for the next trip and I would love to get the two of them together!

Awwww, DS LOVES Cruella! He tells me I drive like her! He really wanted to see her so we went to the MNSSHP and was able to get a pic with her AND an autograph! I was shocked she allowed an autogrpah because they told everyone at the begining of the meet and greet that there would be NO autographs.... I honestly forgot and brought his book up to her and she did it anyway. She was great! DS LOVES his Elmo and he carries it everywhere he goes...... (see pics below!) Cruella told DS she needed a new pair of red gloves and she wanted to make them out of Elmo! So cute!! Here's his pics! Thanks! April

For the Fairies, did Terence replace one of the fairies, or are they all still rotating (SIlvermist, Iridessa, Rosetta, Fawn)? Is it always Tink & 2 fairies, or does Tink also rotate?

For the Frog Princess meet & greet, is it just Tiana & Naveen, or do the other 2 also do it?



For anyone googling clipart for autograph books, the alligator from The Frog Princess is Louis, and the new fairy is Terence. Took me awhile to figure out that I couldn't find clipart because I was misspelling the names.

My understanding is that he has replaced Iridessa. I have not seen the movie yet, but I hear that she has no lines (or maybe one) so that's why she was removed for the time being. Tink will always be there.

Last thurs night (10/22 MNSSHP) we saw Terence with Tink and Iridessa - Silvermist was also there that night - she stuck her head out while we were in line - but she had rotated out when we got into the room. The CM also told us Rosetta was there.

When we were at Epcot last month we saw a character we'd never seen before and I don't think she's in this thread either. My husband really enjoyed meeting Megara from Hercules in Future World.

I didn't even know they had Meg and Hercules as characters in WDW! Too cool!

As many of you know I am an avid character hunter... and as history has shown, with the temperatures changes we see character changes. So I went to visit the parks to see what I could find...

Thumper and Miss Bunny are now meeting at Camp Minnie/Mickey. I talked to the attendant and it sounds like Koda and Kenai have returned to the forest for good, Kenai needs more practice at being a bear.

Peter Pan is now meeting over in Fantasyland, with no sign of Wendy. You can find him between Philharmagic and Tinker Bell's Treasures.

Goofy and Donald are now meeting together near Country Bear Jamboree to make room for the return of our favorite toys - Jessie and Woody. You can find them where the day parade exits next to Splash Mountain.

It looks like with the removal of Peter Pan from Adventureland, Captain Hook and Mr. Smee have left the MK and returned to Neverland (they are still meetable at MNSSHP).

At the Veranda, the former location for Rafiki (and Timon awhile back) we now find Lilo and Stitch (no longer in Tomorrowland). They are paired well with the Island theme on that side of the land, especially with Aloha Isle there. Rafiki is still meetable at DAK.

I did not visit the other two parks, but I heard word that Marie is now much more common in France!

OMG OMG!!! Thumper and Miss. Bunny are adorable!!! AHHHH I hope they are there in January!!!!!!

For the faires, I was originally told that Terrence was replacing Iradessa, but then my friend went and they were both in the room with Tink >.< My theory is that there really is never knowing which faires you will find in Pixie Hollow nowadays at any given time. It's really, who you get is who you get... though rumors are that Terrence is going to be really a common sight in there with the recent release of Lost Treasure. At least for now. It's not like when they first opened the room when the faires were like clockwork. You knew that you could only get Silvermist and Fawn on late park closes, EMH night, and parties while get Rosette and Iradessa were there the rest of the time. Not any more.

As for the 4:50 and onward meet and greet in animation, it is different pretty much every day. The characters always vary, though many make repeat appearences. Every time I have gone I have seen Mary Poppins (though not always with Mr. Penguin), Goofy, and Minnie. But I have gotten such characters as Queen of Hearts, Snow Queen, Prince John, Sheriff of Nottingham, and Ratcliff at it as well. I have seen pictures from friends of others like Jafar, Aladdin, and one picture of Meg even hanging out there. It's like a box of chocolates... you never know what you are gonna get.

Any specific character greeting spots for MVMCP?

Does cinderella and her glass carraige appear at MVMCP, I know I have seen pics of this at one of the hard ticket parties - just not sure which one.

We did last year's party twice and saw just about everything and everyone.

1) No carriage. Belle and the Beast switch off with Snow White and her prince in the spot they ususally put the carriage (the stroller parking lot in Fantasyland)

2) Scrooge McDuck switches off with Donald Duck at the Tree Stand in the same spot Snow White appears with her Dwarfs at MNSSHP. No dwarfs at the Christmas party

3) Alice and her friends trade off near the Teacups

4) Minnie and Mickey appear in holiday finery separately at their houses.


I'm sure there are others, but these were the big ones.

Fantastic information, thank you so much everyone. Really looking forward to seeing Thumper & Miss Bunny - they look so lovely and soft.

Sorry to add another question to the post, but does anyone have any information about the newer character greeting trails in AK? I've seen them mentioned as being between Asia and Africa and that Flik is often there, but the sites I usually visit don't even acknowledge them as existing. Any info about where they are located/who is there/what times would be massively appreciated, thank you in advance.

The new greeting trails at DAK are GREAT. Flik is there, which makes the tree of life his background. Terk is at the front of the second one, with King Louie and Baloo together behind Terk.

If you are walking from Africa to Aisa, Flik will be on your right, Terk, KL/Baloo on your left - they'll all be before you hit the Flights of Wonder Stage.
