Character T-Shirt Question

I was planning on bringing a t-shirt down with me to WDW for the characters to sign, but was just thinking of a cool ides for my nephews for Christmas.

Since I'd like to get their picture with as many characters as possible, I was thinking of bringing a t-shirt for each of the kids, getting signatures from the characters, get their picture taken with the character, then download the picture onto the t-shirt near the signature.

Will the characters sign t-shirts for each child if they are ready to go when the child approaches the character? Does this sound like a good idea (the photos & signatures)?

There was a thread about this a week or so ago, and the consensus was an embroidery was a great idea to stabilize the shirts. I also recommend washing the shirts in cold water and half a box of salt to set the ink.

Cute idea!!! But remember, the characters won't sign a piece of clothing that's on someone. Just have the kids hand them the shirts.
