Character swap - progress thread!! CLOSED & COMPLETE

Alrighty, I have created slideshows with the pictures of the groups that have been shown so far as well as hffmnheidi's groups which I have already received. I will update the slideshows as new pictures are posted or as I receive items.

The slideshows are at the bottom of the 3rd post on the 1st page. Just click on the pictures to start the slideshow. There are 5 slideshows because this is a big swap and I'm limited to how many pictures I can put in each show. By the end, we will have lots and lots of photos in each slideshow.

Please let me know if I've missed any pictures.

I noticed on the directions for another swap that we should sign the back of our pages. Do you ladies usually sign the back of all your swap pieces? I didn't sign the pieces for my first swap, but, would be happy to sign these pieces (and all future swap pieces) if that is what y'all usually do. Thanks, Cheryl

Usually the only time we sign the back of something is for the page swaps. Since they are not bagged individually, you don't have the sticker showing who made it so signing it helps us remember who made it when we stick pictures on it.

This swap is elements only so no signing of the back is required. You can if you want to, though.

Group M - Mary Poppins - the flowers on one of the photomats and journal box are embossed and then I ran blue chalk over them to make them stand out.

Group 5 - Marie I flocked the white part of the "M"

Holy Christmas! I am so behind the 8 ball on this one...I wish I had a Cricut! My stuff will look so 2008 without it...sigh...sorry in advance...

Hey, this is the same tutorial I used for making the bows for the Year of A Million Dreams elements for the ABC swap from a couple years ago.

I totally forgot I even knew how to do that!

I'll check it out, but I am brain dead when it comes to making bows. I have a bow easy and yet, still no bows. I did know how to make a nice knot -- there was a tutorial specifically for bow idiots like me, but I lost track of the knot tutorial.

I'd love to see the picture! I've only seen Marie in the parks once. I was so excited, but just as I start over to see her, she goes inside. I was so bummed. One of these days I'll give her a hug and get my picture taken with her!
