Character swap - progress thread!! CLOSED & COMPLETE

Susan is correct. Those 2 pieces count for 2 elements so you don't have to do anymore. And, yes, 4 embellished squares are an element. I guess I better go check the list and make sure they are on there!

And, Dacky, those look wonderful! You did a great job!

dacky--these are great! DD and I are wondering how you did the BBBoo. She went to BBB and would love to make the title like that :) Thanks

You ladies are right! I did meet the requirements but I was trying to think of something else to join them together....however you are al pretty brilliant in thinking of using a color from FGM as a background on the lyrics page...My brain was so confused and set on these colors that I didn't think of that and I bet it will totally bring them together!

I actually picked up that paper from AC Moore...it was listed as a new disney paper and I thought it screamed Fairy Godmother. I cut it down to fit in printer and just typed them up as text boxes using the French Script font that is on my PC. Then after printing, I let the ink dry for a bit before cutting because the paper has a glittery effect to it. Finally, I added the rhinestone embellishments and backed them with paper :)

I just think it would be perfect for the BBB! Good eye on your very talented daughter (I was in awe of the Tower of Terror Bellhop!)

I am so glad I used glue dots...

I think it's a keeper! Thanks so much for the suggestions and help! I should hopefully be postal by the end of the week :)

I liked it before, but you are right. The blue layer totally makes it a complete set.

awwwww shucks, thanks

Question when it comes to mailings....Can I put the 5 Fairy Godmothers and the 5 lyric embellishments together in one quart bag (that can close) or should I place them all in their own bag....the post about mailings makes complete sense but I think I am over-analyzing and unable to comprehend at the moment.

Dacjy--I have that exact paper! It never occured to me that I could print on it :)

Here are my Mickey elements for group A. It was my first time making slide mounts--I hope they're OK ;) I sure had fun making them :)

ETA: The Mickey on the photo mat is on pop dots so a photo will slide underneath. The Mickey in the star is glittery red paper :)

yeah, I wasn't sure how it would turn out but it did! There are some spots that the ink didn't settle so I patted them dry...but I definitely let it sit out and dry overnight before touching. I also made sure to print more than 5 so I was able to pick and choose....just depended on where the ink fell on that glitter!

That blue layer is perfect!!!

When you bag your elements, you will put each set (1 fairy godmother and 1 BBB piece) in one bag. You will label each of those 5 bags with your name and group # and then put those 5 bags into a gallon or larger size bag labelled with your name and group number. Does that make sense?
