I'm checking in early....I will be at WDW on chck in day!! I have gathered materials and cut the peices for my mickey group and most of my buzz lightyear group! I will start working on this swap right away when I return!

I love this link for learning how to get svg - this is where I learned (before SCAL2 - I still need to work on changing clip art in just SCAL2 instead of going to inkscape but I tend to do alot of the same old some old but hey it still works)

Can get opinions on something else???
Muppet Vision - I got cuts ready to cut for it but I really don't think my boys will watch the show - Im debating on weather or not to actually cut them
I even have them set up in SCAL2 - not just inkscape
so should I cut or not??

Im working on this swap this weekend and (hopefully) will get all of my groups done. For those in group HH with it being Cinderella's royal table did you want me to base it on human ariel rather than mermaid ariel or is mermaid ariel ok?

I have all of my paper and groups designed on SCAL with everything sized and ready to cut. I am just trying to get through these last 3 days of school and the flurry of activities. I am going to start cutting these on Friday. This is my only swap so it will get my full attention.

Thanks for the comments! Pleased you all like them. I'd only done the one so will hopefully get the other 4 sets finished tonight. Then thats 6 groups done and 4 to go. I've got all my papers and ideas so its just a case of setting aside the time to get them done!

Reddy--Are you making the layouts ahead of time for an upcoming trip? Wow, you are too good!

Well, here is my 2 cents. You could go ahead and cut it since you already have it designed and just not glue it down to a layout yet. You might end up with pictures in front of the muppet fountain. OR you could see the show by yourself--there are a lot of neat props in the waiting que area (key under the mat is not to be missed) that you could photograph. After the show there are some neat things in the back of the theatre that you could take pics of or in the gift shop. If your boys like the Tree of Life 3D experience, they might also like this. I'd probably say it wouldn't be something to see twice or wait a LONG time for...because they are teens. IF you don't see the show and there is no need for it then you could give the individual items to a swap hostess as a hostess gift or you could put it aside for my yearly swap "Pass It Forward". It's where you baggie up things you don't need/have too many of etc. and then it's a grab bag trade where you'll get different items back in the mail.

I prescrap my Disney albums - moved up to 5 now - one for each park then another one that will have water parks, hotel travel(bus, monorail, ferry) plus getting there & back - thinking characters could go in here or in the park ablum - I'm using 3 ring albums so moving around isn't a problem

I learned if I want my parents to see the scrap albums then I have to have them done asap - most people don't want to sit & see all of my pictures (2 days at Disney is over thousand) so the albums work better

I did get pictures of that foutian last August - I think the Kermit too (statule outside the building)

boys are non-verbal austic so they don't do shows very good - we are working on it - one of their school goals is to stay on task for 10 minutes (they keep failing this except youngest on computer but he won't stay with puzzles for that long) - they are 14(as of Sunday) & 15 (16 in August)

let me know when the swap is - I may have things to send anyways if youngest hasn't killed them by then (sometimes he plays with my extras)
