character swap and chaos..

This is an early apology to all those ladies waiting for two borders and two tags from me.

I have had a really busy/bad month. My father in law was in critical condition with a brain hemorage, he had brain surgery and spent 9 days on the ventilator. Then a few days in hospital. Then off to rehab. We spent as much time as possible with him during this ordeal. Thankfully he is home now and doing very well. God is wonderful!

Then we went out of town for a much needed trip (preplanned/prepaid).

Just back to work this week, and I have been making tags and borders like a crazy woman. I have almost finished one set. A border and tag that match, and was planning another set but now my cousins wife has passed away at the age of 34. She passed in her sleep on Sunday evening. I will be going out of town to Pennsylvania for the funeral for a few days.

So I may not get the second set done. I may make another border to match the first one, but not get the second tag done. I know you all will understand but I wanted to apologize to each of you up front. I will try my best to complete the sets, but they won't be what I orginally planned.

PS please pray for my cousin. He has three children from the age of 13 down all now with out a Mommy. I am so sad for them.

Bless your heart, Cindy! That's too much for you to deal with, and you don't need all of that hanging over you right now. Know that everyone here will keep your family in our thoughts and prayers.

What can I do to help? I'm finished with my swap things, and I can surely do another set of something, or at least 24 more tags or borders. Is there some way that I could help you out?

Okay, I'll do 24 Chip 'n Dale tags for you, so that will help you finish up. Is there someone here who could help do some borders?

you so kind. That would help me out a ton. I can surely finish the borders if you can do the tags. It would be so helpful. I have the borders all cut just need to get the embellishments done. I am taking them to work today in the hope that it will be quiet and I can punch/adhere and decorate them. If my boss only knew....

Off to Pa tomorrow. I will mail these out on Saturday am. I have the due date as the 20th is that correct? I hope so.

You are so welcome! I love Chip 'n Dale anyway. I've just got to get a game plan down for what colors/decorations for the tags. Can you PM me with an idea of the colors for the other borders? I'll just try to go by that so they will at least blend in together if not match.

I know we are all fine with whatever you can do- Life does get in the way and PLEASE dont make us out to be first priority- Family comes first

As for the due date- Unless I get a HUGE flood of mail this week itll last a bit longer than planned (which is expected) so dont be paniced if its not here exactrly on the 20th... (if not by the 27-28th... Id worry )

I packed you up the unfinished set of 24 borders, fiber, 2 sheets of the brown paper I used for the borders, extra pieces I cut out for the 24 tags (24 brown, 24 white edges are not cut off yet but they were to size, of course you can do what you want with them) and $5 for postage to Emily. I hope that covers the postage if not please please please let me know. I will mail it am on the way to Pa. Thanks again!

Stayed up late last night finishing up my 24 borders. I need only cut out 48 little chipmunk hands and I will be done with my tags. I should be able to mail by Monday at the latest.
