i know you can't drop off items at guest service to get signed. But if I stand in line can I get my shirts and photo frame signed?

On the Magic last week characters were signing shirts, photo frames, pillow cases, as well as books and some other items.

If you take items to be signed that are flimsy, like shirts and pillow cases, please also bring a backer or cardboard or a clip board to give the characters an easier time to sign!

Please also be mindful that there is a line behind you waiting to see the characters too. Depending on the length of your cruise, maybe try to spread out the items getting signed? People have been known to take several items at one time creating lengthy lines as one person has many things to be signed. Has Disney limited this yet?

I'm planning on bringing an ornament for the characters to sign. Hope this is ok! Also bringing one to our post cruise WDW stay for Stitch, SW characters, and a few others.

Yes, they will sign those items. They will not sign non-Disney themed items (like a Minion) though.

Apologies for naïve / dumb question as it has been almost five years since our last cruise.

You can no longer drop off markers and an item to be signed and returned at the end of the cruise?

Correct. It was an unofficial service that was officially discontinued last summer.

Keep in mind that it's not always easy for Mickey and his friends to write on an object that is round. It may not be a perfect signature

Just going to toss in here - shirts (clothing) will not be signed if the owner is wearing it. They must be able to lay flat (as suggested with some sort of backer board).

Just don't be a expletive about it. We were behind a family of 5 at Marvel meet and great. They each had a book, a t-shirt, and a frame. 15 pieces! Captain America shut that down though and only signed the books. Also it was day 5 of the cruise and mom still didn't have a rhythm down and only one piece of cardboard for the shirts which she had to take out and put in again with each signing. I would just ask you to be aware of all the people in line behind you. Have everything out and ready. Have hard material for each t-shirt or pillow case. And please don't make a scene if the character refuses.
