do the characters roam around on the ship or do they have certain times and places to have pics and autographs.

Good question...For the most part they have scheduled times where they are out and doing photos and/or signings. They have some scheduled signing only times...where you can take your own photos of them while they sign your book...then they have other times with the ships photographer there doing pics. You can always take your own pics with your camers...or have a CM take the shot for you.

We were on the Wonder last March and it seems like there were plenty of characters near the atrium every evening. Everyday, the Navigator also tells you when and where they will be. Then they were out for the better part of the day at CC. There was a "Princess" signing event (they sat at tables, with their respective Princes, and signed autographs) in the afternoon on our day at sea.

This past Sept. they had them scheduled....on the ship they were scheduled through out the day at various times....and at diffrent locations.. But on CC they were more limited....I have to imagin how hot those costums must be...and to be in the heat and sun of CC....they they keep them limited. course when you first get off with the excitment they seem to be everywhere. But with in a little time they are gone for the day. So I'd suggest if you want pics with them get them when you see them. Check the navagator they should have it listed as to what times they's out. And in the atrium they have a screan that keeps the times and locations each day listed along with what/who will be there.
