It is a simple enough question for the appropriate Dl guest services to answer for you, via telephone, all that you need is your parents permission to call, since you are under 18, or they can call for you, have all of your questions written down, make sure that they are clear, and then one of your parents can speak with a rep. or you can.
Here is Dl's mailing address, I don't see why you cannot write your questions to DL. All that you need is a stamp,if you do not type very well, have one of your parents type your letter for you, or just help you out.

Disneyland Resort
P.O. Box 3232
Anaheim, CA 92803-3232

Here is Disneys link for Career information

There you will find links on the upper left hand of the page, on the bottom is a link for Student Programs.

Here is another
Disney.com link for DL job resort information , click upon what interests you on the left hand side of the page.

Discuss your interests with your parents, and let them know what you would like to do. Hopefully they are supportive in your Disney interests.
Plan well, for your interests, work however hard as you may need to, and never give up hope nor your desire to do the work that you love to do. :)

I hope this information will help you with your endeavors.

You are most welcome! :flower3:

Too bad that your mother was caught in the middle of requirements, I would be too tall.
There are always so many other jobs, so even if applying as a character did not work out, that is o.k. you can become a CM at the HM, or at Indy, or Pirates, and so on. :)

I see you have gotten your info already, but maybe someday we will be working together!! I plan on moving down that way in a few years and either doing First Aid (what I am in school for :teacher: , so it would make since), tour guide, or in conceirge services.

See you at the happiest place on earth in a few years!!:wizard:

Um...pretty darn sure you need professional experience to be a photographer at DL. Hate to break it to you. But even when you become of age to work at DL you'll have to have AT LEAST some collegiate training in photography and without previous work in the field they won't hire you. Becoming a photographer for Disneyland will be a lot more work than being a CM or character, which relies mostly on looks and acting ability (especially characters).

If you have a real interest in photography, if you have not already begun to do so, start taking pictures, take classes in the subject, if photography is taught in Jr.high, take those classes, and really delve into the subject, if none such class are taught, then there are community classes that you can look into, and even if your school does offer this subject, you can still take classes outside of your Jr.high, hopefully they will be offered by your local recreation department, when I state community classes, I mean your local recreation department, and there are of course professional photographers that teach classes as well, and community colleges teach photography classes, and the units are not terribly expensive, either, it is very possible that even at 12 or 13 you can attend community college classes, and I know that you definitely can in high school.
If you know someone that is a professional photographer, see if they can assist you with your interest, or if you do not know any professional photographers, if you say have a best friend or a relative, or a trusted neighbor, that is a excellent amateur photographer, then it would be wonderful if you can be assisted by them. Maybe your parents are terrific at taking pictures? that would be perfect. Even then, however resume wise, to take classes, to be able to say one day, that you have a certificate or degree in such, or formal training otherwise, will be an asset.
There are fairs, and other local events that you can enter your work in, see how you do, gain experience in taking pictures, also on that future resume, you can state won many awards for my photography work, then I think it would be a great idea to list those awards, etc.
There is a photography board on this site, that might be a place of interest for you, to ask beginning photography questions.
Let your parents know of your interests, look into all of the possibilities, and see how they may be able to assist you.
Anyway, I hope that my suggestions may be of assistance to you.
Good luck, and have fun, with whatever camera might be good for you to start with, I have no idea what that may be, I still need one myself ;) (he he)
See that can be a good question to ask on the photography forum.
