What have you said to characters to get a reaction out of them. I like to ask Tigger if he has bounced today or Chip & Dale which one is smarter and play off of that.

Neat idea for a thread!

At Donald's for breakfast, I held up my Pal Mickey to "real" Mickey and said "Daddy!" Mickey grabbed Pal Mickey and rocked him like a baby.

I told Chip & Dale that IMHO, THEY are the top Disney rodents. They started to do the whole "We worship you" routine and I got lots of kisses.

Not someting we said - but it was cute. Our friends daughter was in line to see Donald Duck at MGM last September. She gave Donald a pen with Mickey on the end of it in a globe. Donald had a fit and threw the pen (not in a mean way). It took us a few seconds to figure out what was going on. Donald was refusing to sign with the Mickey pen. The CM with Donald didn't even know what was going on, she thought our pen didn't work. It was cute. Now our girls love to see Donald. :)

WHEN WE SAW TIGGER AT 1900 PARK FARE HE WAS SIGNING MY DS BOOK, IT WAS DSs FIRST AUTOGRAPH AND HE ASKED WHAT HE WAS WRITING AND I SAID TIGGER SPELLED T-I-DOUBLE GUH-ER! TIGGER LOVED IT AND STARTED HUGGING ME AND DS.

WHEN WE SAW THE MAD HATTER SAY CAT AND IT MAKES HIM GO NUTS! OR LEARN THE UNBIRTHDAY SONG FOR HIM! NOT MANY PEOPLE KNOW IT!

My ds-5 really wanted a reaction from Chip and Dale. I had told him that if you ask them if they were squirrels, they would get really angry. He was so excited waiting in line (this was at character connection at Epcot) as he was practicing just what to say. Sooo cute. He goes right up and asked "Are you a squirrel?" and the chipmunk just shook his head with no other interaction at all. My ds just looked back at me like "what do I do wrong". Broke my heart. :sad1: We will keep trying to get cute reactions. It is just sad when you know the "magic" won't last to terribly long for a 5 yr old boy.

DD took a couple of friends with her last year and while we were at Crystal Palace they dared each other to ask Pooh "why did tigger stick his head down the toilet? He was looking for Pooh". They are teenagers and Pooh started laughing and went and grabbed Tigger from a near by table and had them tell him, where Tigger sham sham his fingers at her then turned around like he was mad, turned back around with his fingers in his ears and left. Pooh thought it was funny. :rotfl2:

At the CP, Eeyore was at our table for autographs & pics. When he was about to leave, I said, "Thanks for noticing us, Eeyore." He got so excited & hugged me. It helped that I was wearing an Eeyore shirt too.

DS, then 3, got a great reaction from Snow White by telling her that he wanted to be her new dwarf. She told him she'd rather he be her little prince & asked him to give her a kiss on the cheek. He did & then she gave him a big red lipstick kiss on the his cheek. It was adorable, because DS had the BIGGEST crush on Snow White.

At 1900 Park Fare, Susie & Perla were awesome! I had ordered the Cinderella slipper dessert for both DD & DS. Susie & Perla were at our table when they were delivered. They acted as if they wanted to eat the dessert. DD "guarded" hers, but DS just picked up the whole slipper & held it up to feed the mice. It was cute!

The sweetest wasn't really a reaction, per se. On our last morning at WDW on our last trip, we went back to the MK for one last time. DD & DH went to ride SM, while DS & I rode Buzz's ride. Understand that at this point in his little life, DS ADORED all things Toy Story. He'd already been to every Toy Story meet & greet available at MK and MGM. When we came out of the Buzz ride for the first time, Buzz himself was standing outside with no one around!! DS ran to him & threw his arms around him & said, "I have to go home today, Buzz. I'm gonna' miss you." I teared up. It was so sweet!

aww that is so cute it makes me wanna cry! how sweet.....

Donald Duck loved when dh did his Donald Duck voice and kept prompting him to do it again.

When Pinocchio saw the Minnie Mouse ballet hair thingy (purchased at Character Premiere) in dd's hair, he started dancing with her.

I got hugs from Pooh and Eyore and Tigger at Toontown without asking. I think they just recognized my pure enthusiasm as I was calling out to my kids excitedly, "look it's Tigger! Hi Tigger!!!"

I told Aurora that there was only one Disney Princess in our house (meaning her) she, without hesitation said, "Yes, Princess (my daughter's name)". How adorable is that? Then she wrote on one of those index cardsshe has for people with no autograph book, "(dd's name) You're my favourite princess, too". It meant the world to dd.

I was joking around with Chip & Dale at Chef Mickey's and I don't really remember what I said but one of them twirled their finger around the side of their head to indicate they thought I was crazy. My DS5 and DD3 just thought it was hilarious that Chip & Dale thought their Dad was crazy and they still talk about it everytime they see Chip & Dale. In fact, they are watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse on Disney Channel right now and they just said "Thanks Chip & Dale for saying our Dad was crazy." :cool1:

Back when he was 4, my DS6 got a kiss on each cheek from Snow White and Belle at the same time. Since then, it's his mission to try to get the princesses to kiss him. His favorite line is something like "You're so beautiful, I would fight ... (you fill in the bad guy) for you". It worked on Snow White both times we saw her last trip--the funny part is they were two different women--and Mulan. All the others weren't falling for it!

Lucky little boy's got three more chances to get his fill of princess kisses this year--we're headed to Disneyland for the 1st time next month and will be at WDW in August and December. Hopefully he doesn't develop the "girls are yucky" thing anytime soon.

Ours was a run in with Pluto at MK. As my 3 kids DS9, DS6 and DD 4 had their autograph books signed and we were getting ready to leave, my husband waved to Pluto an told the kids " Say good bye to Goofy now!".... :rolleyes1 :goodvibes .
Well Pluto just couldn't believe it and gestured that VERY CLEARLY by stomping his foot and looking at my husband, Putting his paws on his hips and tapping his foot, then pointing at himself and throwing up his arms. :rotfl2: Between my husband being a little embarrased and the kids laughing and yelling at dad ,all had a great moment to remember and still do 2 years later! :teeth:
It was a great moment for all of us. :cheer2:

Oh I WISH I could figure out how to post a picture 'cause I would show you what Tigger's reaction was.

A little background story....when DS10 was a baby he had a stuffed Tigger (still does :) ) and he ALWAYS had Tigger's tail stuffed right under his nose. He never had a binky, never sucked his thumb, so having Tiggers tail under his nose was his little comfort. We brought them to WDW for their 1st visit back in 2001 and Mason couldn't WAIT to meet Tigger. The look on his face is something I'll remember FOREVER!!! He got his picture taken, autograph and he was the happiest little boy EVER. But on the way home, I thought it would have been a great idea if when he was having his picture taken, he took Tigger's big ole tail and stuffed it under his nose.

So fast foward to June 2005, we head down there again and had ressie's for Crystal Palace. Tigger comes around and gets ready to take a picture with my son and I scream, WAIT!!! Mason put Tigger's tail under your nose!!!! Well, Tigger stopped in his tracks, look at me and I'm sure, under that costume had the look of death on his face. So I repeated myself and Tigger again looks my way as if I've totally flipped my lid, but then realizes that I'm serious, so he turns his butt towards my son so he can get ahold of his tail and put it under his nose and then turns his head away and covers his eyes. It's probably one of my most favorite pictures yet.

When we were there for Star Wars Weekend, Will (12) was getting his picture taken with Darth Maul and we, including Finn, then 2, were waiting on the sidelines. When Will walked over to us, Darth Maul followed him over and stood in front of Finn (who was in his stroller) and just stared at him with his mean look. Finn had just bought a Star Wars gun from the gift shop and he started shooting Darth Maul with it. It, of course, didn't faze Darth Maul, who then squatted down in front of the stroller, still staring. Finn, I suppose in a panic, figured out he was shooting blanks and hauled off and threw the gun at Darth Maul. It was so funny. I saw Darth Maul's lips move a little as he was trying not to smile, but that's it and then he picked the gun up and handed it back to Finn.

Tigger is a favorite now because when Finn (2) went up to see him, he (Finn) sat down in front of him for some reason. Tigger sat down with him and then layed on the ground and ds followed suit. It was just really really sweet.

I asked Mickey when he'll marry Minnie on my wedding day , but he's not very responsible ! His reaction: He only waived his hand "implying he doesnt know"... he's BAD

I got a couple good ones...

When we were at Chef Mickeys a couple years ago, Chip and Dale both "asked" for some of my gummy bears I had just gotten off the dessert buffet. They each gestured for me to put a few in their apron pockets and not to tell anyone else (especially Mickey). Now, i always offer when we go there to see if they still want some...

And then when we see Pluto, I always tell him he is my favorite and ask if I can bring him home. Did you know he has a tag that says if he is lost to please return to Mickey Mouse. I always get a great interaction when I do that.

And then once when we saw Mickey, I told him I would see him that night for our date at Chef Mickeys. He gave me a kiss on the cheek and then escorted me back to the handler so I could get my camera. She asked him what Mickey would say about him having a date with me that night, and he got all flustered and was shushing her and said not to tell her. LOL
