my daughter and I are meeting my brother at DLR some time on Friday. We are there through Monday. My brother is not a fan of standing in line to see characters, so my daughter and I plan to see as many as possible prior to my brother's arrival. I was thinking that hitting town square, then heading to Pixie Hollow, and on to Princess Faire might be a good start. We don't know what time he will arrive, but I doubt it would be much before 11 am. Our flight is scheduled to land about 7:30 am, so I'm hoping we can be in the park no later than nine. How many characters do you think we could meet in two hours? Any ideas on a better plan of "attack"?

You can cross off at least 10 characters if you go to the Plaza Inn for the character breakfast.

When we arrive, very first thing we do is go to Toontown, in 20 odd minutes we can get Mickey, Minnie, Goofy and Pluto, done, and ride Roger Rabbit, then make our way back through the park ended with the town square for the remainder characters. The cast members at the square can give you an idea of who will be out and approx time.

I would also recommend a character Brekkie one morning you are there if its in the budget. We have always loved Minnie's and you get an array of characters. If its just not possible, your plan sounds realistic to me!

Have a magical time!

This is a very high crowd time and lines for both Pixie Hollow and the princess fantasy fair can get very long (45 minutes) just a couple hours after park opening, if not sooner. Based on when your flight arrives I don't believe you'll be able to manage a short wait for the fairies, unfortunately. I'm not sure how well this will work with the crowds but often if you go to the princesses in the middle of a frozen show their line is usually very short but grows extremely fast after the show ends. Townsquare will be your best bet for the main characters but I was there today between nine and 10 in the lines for them were still pretty long. That's just the reality of high crowd periods...

We do have Minnie's breakfast scheduled for Easter morning, bright and early! We are looking forward to that! The crowds are going to be interesting. I imagine it will be much different from January.

The characters that I have seen the most at Minnie's character breakfast are Minnie, pooh, tigger, eeyore, fairy godmother, max, pluto, hook, chip and dale. There are others I have heard of too but both times recently that I have gone these were the characters. So when in the park you can have an idea of what characters to stand in line for and which ones you will have a good chance of seeing at Minnie's instead.

Usually there are between 3-5 characters at the Town Square at one time, and they'd hang around for about 30minutes each before they're replaced by another character. Just ask the CM handler for a schedule of who's coming out soon. I believe the City Hall would have a schedule too.

Have fun!
