Character meet questions

So we haven't been in a long time and I have seen some info about different characters that are available to meet. The ones that are on our list is Baymax, Joy and Sadness and I would love to see Judy and the Fox (forgot his name) from Zootopia. I know that Baymax is at Epcot and I was going to get a FP but my question is when I go into FP I see meet the characters but is that for Baymax or does he even HAVE a fp. I don't want to waste one if that is for Mickey etc. And is Joy and Sadness in with him and again can you get FP for them?

And where can you met Judy?

I know at HS they used to have special characters in the Walt Disney story building and we have gotten to see many special ones like Chicken Little and the bear from Toy Story 3. Do they even HAVE that anymore?

Sorry for the dumb questions but we have seen all the "normal" ones like Mickey, Minnie, Pluto etc and I like to try and get the unusual ones or limited ones.

We were last at Disney this past June. There were no FP for Baymax, Joy and Sadness. They are in the same building. My best suggest is go to Joy and Sadness at rope drop. There line gets long fast. Once you see then head over to Baymax. His line was pretty short. The day that we went we did Trest Track first because a Tropical Storm was headed our way and we didn't know how long it would stay open. We did Joy and Sadness after Test Track and waited in line for what felt like and hour or more. Baymax's line was about 15-20 minutes.

The Character Stop FP at EPCOT is for the traditional Minnie, Mickey and friends unless this has changed since we were there but I don't think it has.

Judy and Nick (I had to look up his name) the last I heard is only meeting at MVMCP. You can see them on the Shake it, Move it Parade/Dance Party at MK. It may not be called this anymore. I think it got a new name this past summer. But they are not signing autographs or anything during this time Only at the Christmas party.

Yup, Nick & Judy are christmas party exclusive at the moment.

Baymax, and Joy & Sadness are in Epcot, in the same building, but in two separate lines. Neither have FP available.

PP is correct, no FP for Baymax or Joy/Sadness. If you get a FP for Character Spot it would be for Mickey/Minnie/Goofy.

The animation building no longer exists and is now Star Wars Launch Bay. Characterpalooza does still happen at Hollywood Studios though. Check Kenny the Pirate's site for more info on that.

The Animation Building at Studios has been transformed into Launch Bay, so yes there are characters there - but they're Star Wars.

Here is a current list of characters available daily, there are some other new ones on the list you may want to consider. Additionally, Elena and Moana will both start meeting daily soon.

As you walk through the breezeway from the Fountain View (Starbucks), towards the Land Building, you will see Character Spot on both sides. The left is Mickey/Minnie/Goofy, the right is Baymax, Joy, and Sadness.

I echo getting to Joy and Sadness quickly. The line looks deceivingly short. But each meet and greet takes a while, or at least, it did back in May. Well worth it though.

Thank you SO much everyone esp Berlioz. We haven't been in 6 years and we rarely even go into the innoventions buildings so I wasn't exactly sure where that was. We are going xmas week so I am going to go there first thing. I really want Baymax and was going to go to him first but thanks so much for letting me know about Joy and Sadness. Will def hit them first then Baymax!!! THANK YOU!!!!

If you are not doing the MVCMP you can see Judy and Nick at the Move It, Shake It, etc. street show at MK. It's not a meet and greet, and they will usually not step off the float, but the float will stop in a certain position and they will dance and wave to the crowd and such. It's the only option if you want to see them outside the MVCMP.
