OK...not sure if this is one of those "wishes" granted by WDW now, but yesterday dd and I were standing in line to see Pooh by the Pooh play area in MK. This lady came up with 3 of her children and started a scene with one of the character "assistants" saying that she had a FP to EVERYTHING in the park and that she was the first CM that was giving her a hard time about "butting" in line to see the characters with her kids.
A supervisor came over and radioed someone else saying this lady was making a scene, etc. but I have a feeling the guest was in the wrong and that maybe the FP was to see Mickey or Minnie or the characters that stay "all day" in Toontown as opposed to those that just come out for 20 minutes every so often.
I don't know what had become of it, but IMHO I think this would be a "rude" thing for WDW to do because these "meet n greets" are "limited" and it would be quite unfair for a family to walk into line and then end up "not" getting to see this character because a family with an FP can cut in front of them and possibly use up the time a family may have who is at the end of the line.
Does that make sense? I was really surprised to hear that they would give out such an FP, although like I said I think the guest was wrong and maybe it was for those characters that are pretty much out all day consistently meeting and greeting everyone?? Just wondering if anyone ran into this over the past few days?
