Character Meet & a New Ride?

I don't want to debate whether, or not Frozen has a place in World Showcase...it'll just make me sad. Blah. Epcot needs some old school in the new school. Anyway....with new info and drawings coming out in regards to the character meet between Mexico and Norway, am I to understand that there is still a ride going into the old Maelstrom building? Although, it made me sad to see Maelstrom go, at this point there better be a new ride coming into that slot. If it happened not to be Frozen themed then 'hooray' for good ole Norway, but something is still going in there, right?

The new ride is in progress.

Adding a new meet and greet building doesn't change the ride plans. There's been Threads on this over the last two days mainly discussing the Women's restroom.

I scanned a few pages, but missed those threads. Sorry, wasn't trying to be a broken record, which is why I really didn't want to start another debate on the place of Frozen in WS. I knew it shouldn't change the ride plans and was hoping it was just in conjunction with. Thanks!

The new ride will be where Maelstrom was. There will be no ride in the new construction. Just a meet and greet and a restroom.
