Character Meals

Was just wondering which was the best character meal. It doesn't matter if it is a breakfast or dinner.

It really depends on which characters your kids like and who they want to see. Most people think that Cinderella's Royal Table is the "best" character meal, but if your kids aren't into the Princesses, they won't really enjoy it.

A little more info from you will help folks answer your question.

I would have to say Chef Mickey's at the COntemporary. We have only done dinner,but they also have breakfast and Mickey,Minnie,Goofy,Donald Chip and Dale are all there and they spent alot of time at each table and the food is actually palatable as far as buffets go

a couple of years ago, we stumbled into the Liberty Tavern character meal. By that I mean a thunderstorm broke out, and we took shelter. We decided to ask if they had any room (we had 8 in our party), and they did have a large table available. We enjoyed both the characters, and the service - it was an all you can eat situation, but they brought you the food, you didn't have to go get it. Turned out to be a very relaxing time, and the kids enjoyed the characters.

We also did the 1900 Park Fare dinner at the Grand Floridian. To me, this was just a little too formal for the kids, although they try to make it as informal as possible (if that makes sense).

A lot of it depends on what you are looking for.

We were there in Oct...me, DH, DD10, DS8, DS2...we all loved Chef Mickey's for dinner...the character interaction was great! We ate at LTT for our MNSSHP and I will definitely do this again...food was good and the characters were all dressed in halloween costumes! The Princess breakfast in Norway...food was awesome and the princesses were so sweet with the kids.

We cancelled our ps to Ohana's because my kids had to eat at Whispering Canyon one last time (so much fun!) but I've heard the character breakfast is a good one there at the Poly.
