I need lots of help wtih Disneyland Character meals.

I understand Goofy's Kitchen is buffet? Is that correct?

How can I get tickets?

Are there any others you would suggest?

We are there in July with 11 and 7 yr old sons.

Thanks
Diana

Hi there! I just wanted to welcome you to the DIS!<a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/23/23_3_36.gif' border=0></a>

I have not been to Goofy's Kitchen since 2000, but I do remember it being a buffet meal. I also made reservations around a week prior to our trip and I believe I called one of the Disneyland numbers and got transferred to the appropriate place to make the ressie.

You may want to take this question to the Disneyland forum here; I know there are TONS of people who can help you out a whole lot for all your Disneyland vacation planning! They certainly have been there more recently than I have.

Once again, welcome and hope you stick around!

Disneyland Hotel - Goofy's Kitchen

Service Type: Character Buffet
Location: In the building adjacent to the Marina tower next to Granville's Steakhouse and the Top Brass bar
Reservations: Strongly suggested. Call (714) 956-6755.
Hours:

Brunch hours are 7 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.
Dinner hours are 5:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.
Note: Hours can vary. Call ahead to be sure of the hours during your visit.

Goofy's Kitchen is an all-you-can-eat buffet at the Disneyland Hotel. Goofy's Kitchen is a "character dining" experience meaning as you dine Disney characters will roam around for pictures, autographs and general goofing off. The atmosphere at Goofy's Kitchen is very casual and playful.

Thanks for the welcome. I've been learning a lot here as we plan our vacation. I didn't realize I posted on the wrong spot and when I returned to delete my post you had already responed. I've now also posted on the Disneyland forum.

Thanks.
Diana

:wave2: Welcome to the DIS!!! Yep Goofy's Kitchen is still a buffet. You can call (714) 781-DINE (3463) and make ressies 60 days out there. Some people love eating at Blue Bayou and we have ressies there. I personally haven't been to DL in many years, but I am currently planning to be there in July myself. The Disneyland forum is a great one and I have learned lots from reading others' threads! Again welcome and enjoy it here!

Welcome to the DIS, Diana. You can always ask anything on this board, and probably get quick replies too, a fast moving board it is. Nice to see you.

Another good site for DL is http://www.mouseplanet.com/. And another good eating place at DL is the Storyteller's Cafe in the Grand Californian. Not in the park, but great eating.

Hope we see you often. :wave2:
