character meals

We are debating on doing a character meal. I like the thought of the superstar one at la Bamba, but was wondering how the ones were at the hotel and what characters were there.

The dinner character meal rotates at the deluxe hotels

You order off the regular menu and the characters walk around the dining room and interact with all diners

Check the menus for the three hotels and use that to decide which place would be your choice

Characters can change at times but we have seen the scooby/shaggy, homer, etc the past few years

Check with your hotel for the day they will hold the character dining

We enjoyed the superstar one at la Bamba. Loved the one at portofino bay, we saw Scooby. If anyone is planning a Christmas trip, we loved the breakfast with the grinch at circus - we were so surprised how much fun it was and the food was very good.

The hotel dinner ones are fantastic..........

Scooby Shaggy, Simpsons, Woody Woodpecker and Gru with Stuart the Minion..........all fantastic interaction with the characters. Have seen Shrek and Fiona in the past, but not seen them mentioned recently a lot.

RPR restaurants have never been overly busy when we've eaten and characters are there, so they do spend lots of time with each table........

I just realized I have to prepay for the superstar breakfast. I don't like that idea especially if for some reason I have to cancel..I am canadian so I have to figure in the exchange
