Character meals with a "party" atmosphere???

We ate at Chef Mickey's on our last trip and really had a good time I am thinking about trying Donald's at AK or Crystal Palace. Last time we did dinner thinking of breakfast this time. Chef Mickey's was so fun do the others have the same "party" atmosphere. For $60 to $100 for a meal I don't want to be disappointed. Thanks!

We ate at Donald's at AK and I just really didn't care for it. The food was ok, but it was so unbelievably crowded that it spoiled everything for me. I don't remember them doing any type of "party" thing like Chef Mickey's.

We love Chef Mickey's and it is a tradition to go every vacation! We have done most of the character meals and right now I'm drawing a blank about any others having the "party" atmosphere.

We ate at the Crystal Palace this past Christmas Eve morning and had a great time. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore and Piglet came around quite a bit. We had a 10:35 a.m. priority seating, so we were kind of at the end of breakfast and right before lunch started. Although they cleared off one side of the buffet, they did leave the breakfast buffet out on the other side.

We're going again Labor Day weekend and have the same time reserved.

We did the Character b'fast at 'Ohana, and it was really fun!! Goofy, Mickey, and Chip & Dale led a conga line/parade through the restaurant. There was music, and the kids got to shake maracas and such. Everyone had a real good time- Goofy carried DD around and kissed on her- she giggled and kissed him back.

If you're really looking for the party atmosphere, you might want to consider Mickey's Backyard BBQ...a little more expensive than the other character meals, it's like a concert, a party, and a cookout all rolled into one!
We had a blast at it! Good eats! All you can drink beer & wine is included, if you're into that kind of thang!

The Crystal Palace has more of a party atmosphere. The food and characters are great too. Donald's atmosphere is not at all festive. It's like a run-down counterservice restaurant, and our food was cold.
