I am making my ADRs very soon which are a must do? How is Ohana's and Garden Grill? Thanks for any info

We haven't done Garden Grill (since they had the Ice Cream Social more than a few years ago) because the menu doesn't appeal to us. I've heard the character interaction is fantastic though, and they spend a lot of time at each table.
We LOVE 'Ohanas! It's a must do for us; we're going back this July actually.

For us it's Chef Mickeys all the way! :thumbsup2 We love it so much we are doing CM dinner our first night and CM breakfast the morning we leave. We have done the breakfast before and thought it was really good and fun. This will be our first time having CM dinner but we thought it would be a good way to start the trip.

We also like CP. We have been there for lunch and dinner before but for this trip we are trying breakfast. We are so happy, we got an ADR for 8:05 so we can walk down main street before the park opens. :woohoo:

Have a great time,

Loralie

My DDs (4 yr old twins), DW and I have been to every character meal except Cape May breakfast which we will do in August. My favorite is 'Ohana breakfast. The food is served family-style, so there is no buffet to deal with and the bread is awesome. My wife loves the french toast at Crystal Palace and I think that it has a great selection for breakfast. We're not really into buffet lunches/dinners. My girls love CRT and Norway for the princesses. In my opinion all of the breakfasts are pretty similar, so go with the characters/locations that work best with you plans.

As far as Garden Grill goes, the food was pretty weak, but we had great service. Also, there was so much character interaction, and the characters came around so often, that my kids got bored with them. They did like the make your own cupcakes though.

Just remember that there are only characters at Ohana's for breakfast.

Chef Mickey's was a really great experience for us. We went for breakfast.

For us it's Cinderella's Royal Table, Chef Mickey's and Crystal Palace. We have to do these next trip and we just did them last month!

Hands down, Chef Mickey's:thumbsup2:thumbsup2 This is where we begin every WDW vacation!!! We always have a great time and excellent food at CM.
