We have had some great character interactions and some so/so ones.

I was extremely disappointed in Pooh at Crystal Palace when I was wearing a Pooh themed shirt. I was prego and it said I have a rumbly in my belly with a Pooh on it and other cast members commented but he didn’t even after my daughter pointed it out. It wasn’t bad, just was hoping for something a bit more.

We had an amazing interaction at Hollywood and vine with Daisy and Donald. The cast member asked Daisy when she was getting a ring and then we called Donald over to ask him he ran out the emergency exit everyone was cracking up. It was so fun!

What are some of your best or most displaying interactions?

My 60th Birthday celebration was at Crystal Palace. When I was away getting my food my wife mentioned to the CM that I was turning 60 that day and asked if something special could be done. If you know anything about the Crystal Palace you know about the parade around the restaurant with Pooh and the Gang. They had just completed the parade when over the loudspeaker was announced, "Ladies and Gentlemen, children of all ages, please help us celebrate a young mans 60th birthday with his own special parade". Immediately Pooh and all the gang were at my table, dragged me out of my seat and away we went on a parade around the whole restaurant. It was the most fun I had ever had. That was in 2013. Two years later at Chef Mickey's I was eating diner and Minnie came by the table. After the usual chit chat, mostly about Minnie never getting a ring from Mickey, who was called over to explain his lack of a proposal to Minnie, I told her that I hoped someday she would find a person to love her as much as I loved my wife. Minnie bent down and when she placed her lips on my cheek I heard the CM inside the costume give me a kiss. I was brought to tears it was so special. Finally at 1900 Park Fare, Cinderella had just left the table and Anastasia came by. I told her I was glad she had driven Cindy away because Cindy is too pure for my liking because I like my girls dirty. The look on her face was incredible. She called Drizella over and the two of them planted a kiss on both my cheeks. My wife had not gotten the photo so they did it again. I love the character meals and can hardly wait for the next one in 197 days.

We've had really good character interactions at most places- Tusker House (breakfast) is a must do on each trip and the kids always have a blast with the characters there. We had a good experience at CP a few years ago- my kids who insisted they did not like Pooh when we went there ended spending the most time with him and wouldn't let him leave. I would say the best interactions have been at 1900PF- the stepsisters fight over my son every time we go and he leaves with his face covered in red lipstick smooches.

My best friend and I took our 3 high school aged DD's to CRT for their birthdays. Best character action we have ever had. The girls still talk about this encounter and BF states she won't bring her DGD until she is older since it was such a great experience with older children.

We’ve had a great experience at almost all the character meals.
Goofy always makes a big deal out of how tall my husband (he’s taller than goofy) at tusker house and the rest are great.
Pooh etc always good at crystal palace
Mickey etc at GG again fun and interactive.
Special shout out to stich who we happened upon outside of ohanas one day no one else around and we had such a laugh

I've never had a bad interaction. Just last trip I used Facetime to include my 3 year old niece (who is obsessed with Disney characters but has never been and was at home) in our meet n greets. Mickey Minnie and Goofy at the character spot in Epcot made a big deal about her on my phone...but I found Vampirina at DHS and it was like I stumbled upon a rockstar! My niece was over the moon and V made a HUGE deal about seeing her on my phone. It was too cute!

Back in December, DH and I were made "family of the day" at Garden Grill for breakfast. All the characers came over and hung out with us for like 10 minutes! It was amazing.

We did NOT have a good character experience at akershus royal banquet hall. The princesses were not engaging much and a couple of them acted like they were not even mentally there and obviously thinking about something else. Was not happy with it, considering the food is pretty bad on top of that and its supposed to be all about the character experience.

The stepsisters at 1900. Drizella had a whole conversation with my daughter about why you should rely on rodents to make your clothes (as Cinderella did). Anastasia asked my daughter to teach her to dance and they jumped and twirled in the restaurant.

Flynn Ryder showed our daughter rapinzels crown in his satchel when she asked where it was and also taught her how to smolder:)

We just had a wonderful experience at Storybook Dining last week! The Queen was amazing. My 3 year old would laugh hysterically at the Queen every time she saw her, so occasionally the Queen would peer around her backdrop and stare at my daughter, which made her laugh even more! When we went up for our picture, she put her cape over my 3 year old. I told the Queen I guess she was hers to take home now. The look on the Queen's face (caught by the photographer) was priceless, as was my daughter's reaction! My 7 year old just kept saying "she is so rude!"! :rotfl:The other characters were great too, but the Queen was just perfect.
