Character meals bt staying off site??? Can I book chef mickeys?

I am staying off site and going to disneyworld in May 9 to 15. Wanted too take my grandsons to chef mickeys breakfast. They have availability it looks like but it wants me to enter the on site hotel reservations. Obviously I don't have any so how can I book it?

Please help we took my girls there and want to have same breakfast as a family tradition.

You might have more luck on the dining section of the forum.
My understanding is if you are staying onsite you can book at 60 days for your trip.
Not sure what the offsite rules are but I would suspect 60 days from the day you are looking to book for.

You might be in the wrong place for booking, I have never heard of having to enter hotel stay info.

Anyone can book 60 days out. You do not have to be staying on-site to go to resort dining places.

That is really odd, and if true, it would be a new policy since the pandemic. Also, you wouldn't need a park reservation since this is at the Contemporary.

I would suggest calling and having a CM book it for you. This is the only thing I could find:
