for a group of 7 with 4 kids DS10, DS6, DD4 adn DS1 we let the older kids each choose a character meal but we wanted to do one more but we're not sure which one to do....

we have so far...
Chef Mickey's dinner
Crystal Palace dinner
Akershus dinner

All three really like chip and dale so i was thinking eithe rgarden grill or LTT

which one has better food and better character interaction?

I've seen mixed reviews on Garden Grill lately. How about Cape May Cafe for breakfast. Minnie, Goofy and Chip and Dale are all there in beach attire.

we dont want to do a breakfast emal....the kids dont really lik enaything but poptarts and cereal fo rbreakfast....they are more lunch adn dinner ppl...lol

My vote goes for the Lilo and Stitch Breakfast at O'hanas -- great food , great atmosphere. Plus Mickey and Pluto are alos there.

You posted your not wanting a Breakfast as I posted the above -- I would just stick with the three you have then and not add another one.

The Playhouse Disney meals at Hollywood and Vine should also be a good choice. I'm going for lunch with a 6yo and your crowd is the perfect age range.

oh yeah!!!....i forgot about that meal....teh 3 yr old and 6 yr old would probably love that one....Is it a character meal at both lunch and dinner or just lunch?

DH and I ate dinner at the Garden Grill last December. We liked the food and I thought the character interaction was good compared to others we ate at. Even for a 39 yo getting her pix taken with Mickey, Chip & Dale and Pluto. :) The food is basic but it was good. We've not tried the LTT dinner only lunch.

Are there any other characters you think your kids would like to meet? The character meals are a good place to meet them.

Have fun! Karen

well....we figured that we have covered the princesses at Akershus, Winnie the Pooh and friends at CP, and Mickey, Minnie and Pluto at Chef Mickeys

the only other ones they really know are chip adn dale and donald duck....but the little ones would probably love payhouse disney characters
we're just trying to get as many characters as possible in at meals b/c th e3 and 6 yr old especially wont really want to stand in line for like 60 mins or more for the characters BUT put food in front of them and they are usually very happy adn patient kids:lmao:

We're going for 9 days so i was figuring like one every other day would be more than enough

Actually, its at breakfast or lunch, I've booked lunch for us at the end of August.

Donald is at Chef Mickey's, so you'll get to meet him there.

Just a thought...if you decide to do H&V for Playhouse Disney characters, you can take the kids to Chip and Dale's Campfire sing-a-long in Fort Wilderness.

YOU'RE WELCOME!!!:goodvibes

The campfire starts around 7:30. They roast marshmallows and make smores. Chip and Dale sing and walk around to meet the guests and then it is all followed by a Disney movie under the stars. It is a really cute and free activity (you have to pay for a smores kit though, just a couple of bucks and plenty for a few kids).

Have fun!

We were not fans of the LTT dinner, which was dissapointing because it is one of our favorite lunch spots at MK (even though the wait time is always annoying, even with ADRs).

We enjoyed Hollywood and Vine for Breakfast, but DD2 loves JoJo.

O'Hana breakfast was good, but crazy, more crazy than other meals, and we're ok with a large amount of crazy.

We really the Safari Breakfast at AK, it was good food and good characters.

We found that we appreciate the Breakfast character meals more than the dinner. Not sure exactly why, maybe we just like being served for dinner.
