do you think there will be a Frozen character meal when they finish Arrendale?

They could possibly show up in akershus.
Akershus is already ruined so it wouldn't surprise me. They would certainly fit the new Arendelle theme better than the current princesses though.

I can see the new arrendale breakfast buffet with Olaf right now

But aren't they building a huge M&G hall for the Frozen girls right beside the pavilion formerly known as Norway? How can they have them doing M&Gs and then appear at Akershus at the same time, 100 feet away?

Magic... It probably won't happen but it's not out of the question.

Aren't they renovating CRT? Perhaps they will move the princesses from Akershus to the larger CRT and making Akershus a frozen meal.

CRT renovation is already completed. I don't mean to contribute to any A&E at Akershus rumors, but Cinderella is currently at CRT and PFH about 200 yards away in the MK so it is feasible that they could have them in more than one place in the same park.

Not to mention she meets at Princess Fairy Tale Hall which is right next door to CRT!

To answer OP's question: I can see them doing a trial run of Anna and Elsa at Akershus for a little bit while we wait for the new M&G area to be completed, and maybe a special holiday meal at some point, but other than that I can't see it happening as a regular, permanent thing.

I love how we're tiptoeing around this "is it possible to have anna and else at a breakfast….AND at a meet and greet in the same world showcase pavilion they have no business being in?!?!?"

…like the kids are reading or something :)

I honestly don't get the massive hate for the Norway pavilion change. Epcot was supposed to be kept as a park that keeps innovating and introduces people to new cultures, and this idea was built with the intention that it gets paid for by sponsors. Now the sponsors keep leaving without replacement and Disney has to pick up the slack. Another problem with Epcot is that it's the park that parents complain about most for not having enough kid friendly things to do.

Disney's answer to this problem is to throw Frozen at the park and sees if it sticks, do I agree with this answer? No, not really, but it's an answer. I don't see anyone complaining about a talking turtle or a Nemo ride. Or a giant cat meeting people in France. Honestly I wish they were putting the money into DHS, but I don't think that fits their schedule, maybe they're trying to get people into the other 3 parks before undertaking the massive amount of work DHS needs.

What a fun discussion. As a first time family trip goer. One of the major reasons my four-year-old wants to go to Disney is because of Frozen. So we are more than excited to have a frozen themed ride.

Personally, it would be stupid if Disney didn't do a Frozen themed meal. So maybe not at Epcot, but one of the parks. It is huge deal. As a mother of a 4 year old- everything is Frozen. We don't normally take vacays...but saved up so she could meet Elsa. She saw her on tv and that was it! Huge deal around here. I would love to have a meal with the Frozen crew and I would pay for it, regardless of cost.

If I had a preference though- I wouldn't want it at Akershus. I would rather they have their own thing with their own theme and new food. I'm tired of the same old same old with Disney. What I love about Disney is when they get creative and do new things that make me say "wow!". Not when they throw a princess into an already bad place.

Good point. I've wondered about the Arendelle culture for years after all.

Seriously, Nemo characters are in the Living Seas but the integrity of the seas theme is still intact. I must be tired because I can't think of a cat. The trouble is that the actual cultural aspect of a nation called Norway has been slowly destroyed and it appears that there will very little of it left. Some of us like the Norwegian culture even gussied up by a themepark operator.

The sponsorship thing seems irrelevant. It appears that only Morocco has any involvement in their pavilion. Of course privately owned restaurants are in place and could be seen as sponsors of their own space but virtually no countries sponsor anything now.

Love the sarcasm, really adds a nice validity to your argument :rolleyes1.

You said it yourself, they used Nemo and kept the validity of the seas in tact. What says they can't do the same with the new Pavilion? Arendelle is in fact based off of Norway. For all we know the old pavilion could have gotten very few visitors compared to the others and needed the boost. If I had to choose between Italy, France, Mexico and Norway, well Norway would be last on the list.

Either way unless one of us is actually in on the meetings at Disney that decides these things we'll never really know all the reasons behind this decision. Like I said myself, I don't agree with the direction, but it doesn't insult me either. People viewing Disney with rose colored glasses can be annoying, but so can people with an apocalyptic view.

The cat, by the way, is Marie from Aristocats. :cat:
