Character meal suggestion for 7 yr old boy 4 yr old girl.

my recommendation would be minnie & friends but can't do that before the park opens.

i think that leaves the resort breakfasts: storytellers, lilo & stitch and goofy's kitchen

goofy's kitchen i haven't been thrilled with. heard good stuff about the others. i'd probably opt for lilo & stitch

bradk has given you the breakfasts (goofy in the DH, Lilo in the PP & Story in the GCH). What day of week (& date) are you considering, & where are you staying?

A 9 or 10am opening wouldn't be a problem, but probably this would be best mid week.

We'd be there the 1st week of Feb., staying with my cousin in Irvine and it'd be a weekday day meal.

The most popular breakfast is Goofy's Kitchen at Disneyland Hotel. I do like that one as the buffet has a lot of options. My favorite, though, is the breakfast off the menu at Grand Californian Hotel. That has Chip & Dale & their Critter friends. My dd & I had breakfast there & enjoyed it. It's a bit more understated than Goofy's Kitchen & Lilo & Stitch at the Paradise Pier Hotel.

Definitely depends on your kid's likes. Goofy's is something we LOVE - but we do dinner there. It's great for girls AND boys! Lilo & Stitch is one of our favorites too - but consider Lilo, Stitch, Minnie, Daisy, Pluto, and maybe Goofy - will that work for your son? Storyteller's we also love - if your daughter loves animals, this should be a hit as well, from my experience most of the boys love this one.

We took our nephews in February and did all the meals - one 7 (one month from 8) and one 5. The boys preferred Goofy's and Storyteller's and the oldest thought Lilo & Stitch was a little too girlie and wasn't real interested in learning how to do the hula...

Menu - Goofy's buffet is my favorite and so far has beat all the others with all the kids in our family too.

We just got back from our trip and did the Chip and Dale breakfast at GCH. I would NOT recommend this. While the food may be better than others, the experience was pretty horrible. The buffet was always about half empty, had a huge line, and worst of all, had VERY LITTLE character experiences. We never even got Chip OR Dale at our table. Only had the bear and gorilla. Definitely a waste of our money.

We just went to Goofy's Kitchen and we LOVED it!!! The characters spent a lot of time with us and they took the kids in the middle and danced! My girls loved it and the food was really fun and yummy!
