Character meal questions.

Is there a character meal offered at IOA? If so could someone give me the details as to when,where,how much, what characters are in attendance,what is served ect. Thanks, This would be for me DH and Ds who is 10!! Will be there 3rd week of Nov.

I'm pretty sure the only character meals available at Universal now are those at the resorts. All the resorts do character meals and, from memory, include Woody Woodpecker, Scooby Doo and a few others.

I haven't done one, so I can't help with prices and offerings.

Circus McGurkus Cafe inside Suess Landing does have a Character Type area. At certain times of the day "The Cat In The Hat, The Grinch, Sam I am, Thing One & Thing Two" preform a circus show under the Big Top.

They will pose for pictures and sign autographs after they are done.

I'm pretty sure that this is just a character interraction, as opposed to a true character meal like they have at WDW. I think the resorts do, maybe we ought to go to one so we can post the real skinny on character meals!

When people say character meals, they are generally thinking of meals where the characters interract with the guests while they dine, (ala Chef Mickey's) this allows them to charge exorbitant prices for meals, but kids love 'em!

They DID have one at Confiscos awhile back, with Spidey and Beetle Bailey among others...that was cool. I think there is some conflict with certain characters appearing in the "wrong" or "out of character for them" areas of the park. Didn't we hear that from someone we spoke to once?
