Character meal question

I made ADR for Chef Mickeys & Crystal palace next month. Stupid question, but since I've never been to DW I don't know, is there a good chance the characters actually stop by your table for a bit? I'll be with my sons, ages 2 & 4, so I'm sure they will want a picture. I've read that they will be present, but just not sure if they have to time to go to everyone's table, you know? Thanks!

At the ones we went to the characters always stopped at the table. Crystal Palace and Chef Mickey's.

We've been to lots of character meals. The characters have always stopped by the table long enough for pictures and some interaction.

I don't think there is any character meal that they don't stop at each table. As already stated they will stop and take photos, plus they will sign autograph books if you have them. They will even stop at tables with just adults unless you wave them on. They take their cues from their audience. At Chef Mickey's you might see them dance around the room. You should plan on 60 to 90 minutes if you want to be guaranteed to see each character. It can take them a while to make their rounds.
